Very good at doctoring. Often runs late because each person gets the attention they need. Works on health issues until resolution. Refers to specialists when needed. Best rating I can give is she is like the old time family doctor.

When I asked to have referrals to other specialist he immediately exclaimed "they won't see you", while dismissing the symptoms I'm describing to him. In the end, which wasn't long into the conversation, he says "you're just rambling" while printing off a stack a stretches which he threw on the table and walked out mid conversation of me explaining symptoms... never have I felt disrespected, wrote off, and uninvited to a place that's meant to "heal". Unprofessional, incompetent and cold would describe the experience and the doctor.

But, he left the practice suddenly and Dr. Asirot took over his patients. I was concerned about the change, because I have serious ptsd surrounding doctors and hospitals. In my past, I have been mistreated, talked 'down' to, treated without any basic dignity, kindness, and respect over the course of my lifetime. I met Dr. Asirot during a routine appointment and shared with him a brief description of my ptsd and asked for his patience. I immediately felt his gentleness and willingness to listen. (Something most doctors do not do!) He is kinder than any doctor I have had in years. Respectful of my health issues, and generally a nice person!! No God complex. I was saddened by the 1 star reviews. They certainly weren't talking about the doctor I have. Dr. Reshelle Asirot is amazing. I have recommended him to all my friends. Thank you Doctor, for being the best doctor I've ever had.

I booked my appointment in December for January. When I arrived I was greeted by the receptionist who was very friendly and got me checked in quickly. There wasn't anyone else in the waiting room and I was taken back to the patient area a couple minutes after checking in. I got weight and my height taken, then the nurse took me into an exam room. She took my vitals and was quick and friendly. I didn't catch her name but she was super sweet. Alyssa came in about five minutes later and spent a good half hour talking with me and getting to know me. She listened to my extensive history, explained things to me that nobody else ever had, and then was able to finally give me a prescription for a medication I've been trying to get from my previous doctor for six months. She explained how insurance doesn't always cover it but she will help me with options if they don't. She was incredibly helpful and friendly and was very realistic about the way our healthcare system is. The office was easy to locate inside a larger medical building. Parking is limited but I found a spot easily enough. I do wish they had an online patient portal, but maybe someday when they are a bigger practice they will. I am so happy with my experience here and hope to remain a patient for a long time.

The support staff are all friendly and helpful. We're very pleased.

AND THE WORST 'HEALTHCARE' AS WELL-though I'm hesitant to even call it that. I did not at all feel like Jan cared about my *personal* needs. She was warm and friendly enough until I asked her to order some tests that I wanted, or to think outside of her narrow thoughts. I was only asking for a comprehensive thyroid panel-we aren't talking expensive hypochondriac things. When I told her that a topical medication she prescribed was causing dryness and irritation, she dismissed my concerns and told me to keep using it. I took my son to see Dr. Copperman for a specific concern and he told my son that his issues were his own fault. His blaming alienated me, shamed my son and did NOTHING to address the concern we came in for. I have NEVER been treated this way before by anyone. His care was so terrible that I sat in the car crying from anger. I asked for a referral for my son, and was handed a list of providers and told they would send over a referral. When I called to follow-up, the referral told me they weren't accepting new patients. I called the clinic back but no one was available to help me. 3 days later they returned my multiples calls and said they'd send it through to another. That one ALSO was not accepting new patients. And then it happened a third time. Finally, I started calling around and then asked the new clinic to call for a referral and it took a week to receive it! As if that wasn't enough, the front office told me that I did not need to make a co-pay for a visit. I told them, are you sure? I usually do. They told me no, and refused to take any payment. When I was then billed for it, I called to find out why and was placed on hold, or hung up on, and never got an answer. When I went in for the next appointment, they told me at the appointment that I had to pay a $100 deposit to be seen since I was delinquent on my bills. DELINQUENT. It was a $20 co-pay. I was there for an appointment and had no other choice if I wanted my son to be seen.
