Beautiful campground with great amenities. We had a really nice experience staying in their yurt. It is located super close to the river so you can hear the water which makes it even better and super relaxing! They have all sorts of activities during the weekend, the kids loved this place. We will definitely come back soon!

This is a nice campground! Every site is on the creek. There isn't a bad spot among them. The facilities are clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. My stay was peaceful and relaxing :-)

Camp ground view of the river, gorgeous!

A fabulous family friendly campground with lots of fun activities. Each campsite is on the winding river and makes for a peaceful setting. Our spot, #14, was level and large, with electric and water hookups. The showers were hot and each had a private, locking room to yourself. The host and hostess were very kind and attentive and had children's activities planned for the weekend such as a treasure hunt and s'mores. We hope to come back this way and stay again!

While we loved seeing all the kids playing on the playground and the creek, we were there for the peace & quiet.

Andy and Karen Burnham bought the place several years ago and have worked very hard to make the place at home for you. They live in the place in the wintertime when it can get down to 60 below and they only have a wood fireplace to rely on for warmth. A brief history of the place; it was a lodge 3 brothers from Michigan founded in the 1940's and built themselves with blood, sweat, and tears, which is what it took for an enterprising person to make it there back then to not get cold or hungry. Andy and Karen took it over making it a showplace and still working on it. There's a display of vintage typewriters and appliances in a room in the lodge and a nice selection of sundries and reading material. And the outside has old International trucks from the 1940's on display still in running condition. For food and drink, they serve their famous roadkill chili with a selection of squirrel, porcupine, and muskrat depending on what day it is. And wood fire pizzas to include supreme, meat lovers, pepperoni, or chili. Better than what you'll get at the average pizzeria in Alaska. The bar has a nice selection of flavored whiskeys, canned local mixed drinks, and the basic traditional stuff. It is expensive, but a lot of logistics and expenses are involved to get the stuff there. As for RV'ing in itself, perfect! All the sites are near the nicely flowing Tolsona Creek. Whether you like to fish or not, it's a pleasant view. Anyway, we've been there 3 times already in the past 2 years. I want the place to remain a secret, but at the same time want the owners to enjoy the bounty of their hard work and the place continue to flourish, maybe eventually it'll become a popular winter lodge as well with the cabins.

This place is too open! and very buggy! Main problem is they have a huge campground but shove…read moreeveryone into one area, some of us like a little privacy.

We met so many good people here and are going to make this a ritual. Pro's Potable water and Dump site on the grounds. River front views Free WiFi Little Mountain View store within 2 miles. CLEAN Bathrooms on site Clean campground in general. CON's WiFi is ONLY available in the room next to the office AND will not reach the campground. This is a PRO obviously but for some it would not be especially if you have kids. SPOT 30 has electrical hook up but bring an extension cord with you. Also, if you have dogs, spot 30 isn't the spot for you. This is right in the heart where everyone walks by with their dog's, kids flying by on the bikes, and Wheelers. All of the people coming in, tow their campers right by you which makes for a dusty environment. Additionally, very very limited privacy. EVERYONE can see what you have or are having for dinner. Overall, great campground. I recommend but do not recommend site 30!

Don't sleep on this campground the fishing is good, the eagle watching incredible, areas of water that are safe for the kids to play. The owners and camp host are incredible and truly care about your experience during your stay. Tyler is an incredible guide, kids think he is hilarious. Sites and charters are reasonably priced, cannot say enough good things. Already booked for next year, thanks for the memories guys! Also my use of the word incredible is intense I know, but it's just that good!
