During lockdown, this place was a life-saver for many in the community, mentally and physically. Marina will forever have my respect and support for being brave enough to be one of the few gyms that fought closing at every turn for her community. That said, this gym has a beautiful tight-knit family vibe and structure. Never crowded, great vibe, and you'll see the same faces working hard every day. We have a collection of some amazing men and women athletes, all of whom are helpful and supportive, I honestly can't think of a safer or more positive environment to achieve your fitness goals. What Rebecca did was not in line with any gym environment I can think of. Rebecca threatened to physically assault me in front of at least three individuals who can testify, including an employee. You didn't cancel your membership,dude. You were canceled for physically threatening another person. Best of luck at your next MMA gym

He described the shower saying: if you shower you are definitely catching something. It has stains everywhere. The women's room has never been swept or mopped. One of the showers is out of order. Lacks ventilation in there too, someone there told me they used to have a box fan. Owner, don't let the young kids run the biz you just bought into the ground. Here's a list you can give them: Clean mirrors with disinfectant. Clean sinks with disinfectant. Clean countertops with disinfectant. Sweep floors. Wash floors with soap and water add disinfectant. Dry mop. Wipe door handles with Lysol wipes. Scrub toilets with soap and rinse with hot water. Spot clean wall with disinfectant. Scrub and disinfect sauna with soap and water and scrubbers. Owner, give them the tools and supplies: Gloves, scrubbers, toilet scrubbers, disinfectant, broom, dustpan, mop, rags (plural). Easy.

Has some cardio machines in the back. I'm training with the owner , Alan Mariano, who is also an IFBB pro bodybuilder. And there is also another IFBB woman pro bodybuilder that's a trainer there too, so you have some real experience and expertise when it comes to personal training. I really enjoy my time there. It takes me 30 minutes to get there but it's worth the drive. I've already been getting great results.

So here's a picture of the prices that she put out on the desk after I hung up with the salesman.. interesting customer service tactic. She's in in front of me right now vacuuming and all the dust obviously is in the whole area. I have lots of allergies specially for dust. I had to leave the gym and skip my workout because that situation made me very mad really. We are in a very serious times right now regarding the pandemia and this lady is spreading all the bacteria's with her vacuum. I understand that is not her fault, she's just following instructions. But managers and owner of this gym; please, be more conscious regarding this pandemia and try to clean the gym while is closed not when people is working out. We need to bread heavily when we are working out and our poors are completely open. I hope you understand and do something about it.

I hung up on him and he texted me some crap (not an apology!!) as a resident of imperial beach I'm disgusted that this is how someone would behave! Hi Yelp! First off let me start by saying I have lost a total of 36 pounds in 4 months. I feel…read morestronger and more energized than ever before and it's all because of Kate! I originally called Kate to help me lose weight for my wedding in September but I plan to keep this going for as long as possible! I love how much stronger and stronger I feel every week. KATE is very knowledgeable about all aspects of working out, she guides you through every step and makes sure you are doing the movements correctly so you don't hurt yourself. She provides a full guide specifically tailored to your fitness needs (in my case weight loss), the program helps with what to eat, when to eat, and how much to eat, and there are also specific workouts for your level of fitness you do on your own. Out first meeting was more like a consultation where she gets a feel for what level of fitness you are at, and I was level beginner :) And from there she builds that plan for you. I work out with Kate 2 days a week tue & thurs and then 1 day by myself usually Saturday morning plus cardio every other few days. I had a gym membership in the past but I only ever did cardio at the gym so I am a beginner when it comes to working out/weightlifting. Let me give you an idea of how far I have come. When I first started with Kate, I could barely do 1 push-up on my knees and now I can do 5 solid regular push-ups. And that's huge for me. I was so out of breath after 1 burpee and it was so awkward for me, but now I can do 10 still winded but nothing like before! We have done all this from the comfort of my own home in my garage, with 2 yoga Matts and a couple of dumbbells. Call Kate, it's the best decision you can make for yourself! My fiancé is so happy with my results, everyone in my life has been complimenting me saying that I look the best I have ever looked. I have totally gained more muscle and it shows, I am thinner but more importantly more Toned and I could not have done any of this without Kate. If I can do it anyone can do it. HIRE KATE! She will not disappoint. She is an amazing personal trainer!

I am in Coronado for a one week vacation and I got a week membership for about a hundred bucks…read more They have a great variety of clean, welll maintained equipment, and the staff, Victoria, Christa, and Adam have been super helpful and friendly. I love the open air feel of the large double doors that open up to the front sidewalk. Complimentary towels is a nice touch. I would want to join monthly if I lived close to here.
