This is a minor league baseball stadium. I haven't been here for a baseball game but for 2 different events The stadium is smack middle of downtown Toledo but unlike most cities there is plenty of parking. Now if u want free parking you may have to walk a bit. Parking will run you $10 during special events, $5 during regular days. The stadium is a nice size with plenty seating. I saw lots of concession stands that seem to have domestic beer and simple drinks. Hotdogs etc that you would expect for baseball. We had paid for VIP access and there are several VIP areas upstairs with plenty of seating. We came for beer festival n felt it was a great venue. read more

On Thursday, June 12, 2025, I took several family members to see the Mud Hens play Omaha. We were in town to honor my late father and I wanted to attend a game because he had taken me to the original stadium on Key Street when I was a boy. I have to say this is one of the best values in all of Toledo. For about twenty dollars per person you can spend a few hours watching baseball and soaking in the great stadium atmosphere the Mud Hens have created. When there is no action on the field the club offers plenty of entertainment between innings. My personal favorites were the Freeze Cam and the Grass Snow Angel contest. The on-field host was charismatic and kept every little game lively. Food, drink and team merchandise were reasonably priced and we found nearby parking even though we arrived in the third inning. Although we would have preferred a Mud Hens win we still had a fantastic time and will do it again next time we are in town. The Mud Hens are a first-class example of what a Triple-A baseball club should be. Well done. read more

A nice night out of baseball. You will enjoy it more if you have kids as everything here really caters to families. Lots of fun little games and food that the little ones will really enjoy. The souvenirs too, we went on Star Wars night and they had light sabers for five bucks which proved a big hit. All seats here are good seats view wise but not leg room wise. If you need to get up often I recommend an aisle seat as getting in and out is a pain. There are bathrooms everywhere and food stops are Uber convenient too. No railing going up and down stairs so if you have accessibility issues beware and get handicapped accessible seating. I had an easy time getting down the stairs but going up them was challenging with no support rail. Food was cold and terrible but it could have been just what we picked. Avoid the pizza and Italian sausage at the very least. The burgers looked good as did the sweet treats so maybe try them. The game itself was a clunker but we still managed to have a little fun, even as an old couple without little ones. read more

I use to come to watch the Hens at least twice a summer but has been 5 years since I have been able to get here. Prices for tickets are still reasonable and so is the parking. Once in the park, not a bad seat. I like to sit under the overhang of the upper seats. Out of the sun, close to the bathroom, and the food choices. Pizza, burgers, ice cream, etc.... Prices also not high. The Hens do win some but since I drive from Michigan, I just enjoy seeing a good game. When times are normal, their are vendors that walk in aisles with drinks and snacks so if you have a good bladder, you don't have to leave your seat the whole game. Have fun give away games between innings, usually involving kids so you can bring the kids. A nice way to an afternoon or evening. read more

Went downtown for a game on the Fourth of July. Toledo has a great stadium and team for their league. Place was packed but it didn't feel too crazy. Their staff seemed light and overworked though. Good offerings could have been a little more abundant with better description. Also would have been nice if the pretzel stand had cheese. Fireworks show afterwards was great. read more

What a great day (or night) out. It's cheap, it's fun. It's family-friendly. It's group-friendly. It's first-date friendly. Tickets cost next-to-nothing and they have a lot os special events. They have been known to sell out, so if you're planning to go, def get tickets ahead of time. Typically, I have taken groups and their group sales is VERY EASY to work with. Their gift store is terrific, and don't go home without getting a picture of Muddy or Muddona (mascots). When we go, we typically round out the day with a visit to Tony Packo;s (the original location) for delicious Hungarian food - and to check out some pretty good buns. read more

I drove from north of Detroit, Michigan to take my husband to a Mudhens game. 1. tickets - cheap - and no service fee if bought online. With easy pick up at Will Call! 2. Ball park is nice and clean. Seats are comfy for ball park seats. We sat behind home plate and had excellent views. 3. No waiting for the ladies room. I repeat, no waiting for the ladies room. 4. All employees we encountered were very nice, even if we were just walking by. 5. Great bar staff on the club level. 6. $10 parking in a garage across the street. 7. Fireworks post game. I'm sure there are more good things about this ball park. Maybe I'll find them the next time we come to a game, because we will be back! We have been going to the Mudhens for years. Last Saturday we went with our friends. I grabbed 100 dollars cash put it in my pocket and headed into the ballpark my buddy did the same. We left our wallets in the car. We usually spend about a 100 ea. I went to buy a beer waited in line got to the counter ordered my beer gave the women a 20 she said we don't take cash. My buddy only had cash also so no food no beer was going to buy a knew shirt also not allowed to use cash. Found my wife headed to the beer stand she had her credit card. There were six people in line ahead of me it took 15 minutes for them to serve 6 beers because peoples credit cards wouldn't work. Later in the game my wife went to get a pulled pork sandwich the line wasn't that long but because of the credit card crap it took her 2 innings just to get a sandwich and fries. Our friends and us will never be going there again. We would have spent hundreds of dollars but I just bought the one beer. Very disappointing you can't use US currency at americas favorite past time at an american stadium sad and pathetic!!! read more

I've heard such great things about Toledo Mud Hens games ever since I moved here last year. The locals swore that the games were so awesome and fun, but honestly, how much more fun were the games compared to an Angels or Dodgers game? I was a skeptic, and I believed the baseball games to be overrated due to the lack of things to do in Toledo. I officially state that the game last night was one of the most fun baseball games I've been to (as much as baseball itself can be fun). The traffic towards downtown was insane, but once we were in there were a lot of parking choices (ranging from $5-$10). I've never seen so many people in Downtown Toledo! It was easy to get to our seats. Vendors circled around regularly offering classic baseball game food. Surprisingly, there was a lot of food to be sold. What caught my attention the most was how FAN-FRIENDLY Mud Hens games are. They had games between every inning (which were hilarious) and lots of entertaining tidbits. I've never seen so many little kids at 1 baseball game before. The fireworks show at the end of the game (after every weekend game) was impressive and definitely exceeded my expectations. Mud Hens games are a cheap and entertaining way to just get out for a wholesome, family friendly evening. Next time, I'd probably look into taking a bus or shuttle so I don't have to worry about the parking and traffic. read more

The Toledo Mud Hens. Youve seen Jamie Farr and Harry Morgan wearing the jersey. Now let me tell you about them. The Hens are a AAA minor league team whose parent club is the Detroit Tigers. They are a contender and rare is the time when you will see a bad game. Unlike the parent club, the Hens know how to win games as in back to back championships of the International League. But, moreover, it's not the baseball that I go for. I go because it is a cheap evening or afternoon; a mere 9 dollars gets you any seat in the house, and they do fill up fast, but me as Mr Last Minute has never encountered a sellout. The food, while good can be on the expensive side, so go get grub somewhere else, but in case you do want to eat the food, get the Italian sausage made right there in Toledo by the Sofo family. It is worth the 6 dollars you're gonna pay for it. If you happen to go on a Fri, Sat or Sunday, there are always fireworks at the end of the game. Don't bother trying to leave early, there is no way out when the police block off Monroe St. Stay and enjoy the show. Better yet, park your car at one of the satellite lots like Franklin Park Mall, or Westgate and take the bus in. They have shuttles for every home game, and it's pretty cheap at 1.50 per ride. There are a number of places to eat at before and after the game, one being Frickers. I'll cover that in a later review. read more

The fireworks that they offer on weekends are awesome especially around the Fourth of July. Tickets are extremely inexpensive so you can go to many games compared to MLB. One of the best things you can do in Toledo when the weather is nice is go to a mudhens game. This is a very fun experience for all ages. You can not beat this atmosphere for a ball park. Very expensive to get really good parking but there are a few decent spots about a block away, which is not to bad of a walk. One of my FAVORITE things to do in the summer is going to a Mud Hen's game. It's an excellent place for kids, and they always have different events going on.
