We went for happy hour and sat at the sushi bar. We enjoyed a bottle of sake with salad and then a boat of assorted sushi and sashimi. (FYI next time I would request my sushi on a plate- the wood of the boat is breeding ground for mold and bacteria). I just want to mention after reading so many bad reviews and different experiences. I always eat at the sushi bar and never sit at a table this is a way that I know that my sushi is not premade and is fresh. It's almost like eating at two different restaurants. You get more information from the sushi chef from what's available and the best. The butterfly roll was over the top good with Kani, shrimp tempura, and cream cheese drizzled with eel sauce and mayonnaise. The prices are great for happy hour!

I arrived late on a Wednesday night after a long day at work and Tokyo was one of the few places still open at that hour. The interior has a typical Asian vibe. The food was good. I had the tuna sashimi on a bed of white sticky rice, complimented by a Sapporo. I did not get an opportunity to try the hibachi on my visit because I arrived so late. I'm not sure if I will return again, the bartender Brandon was pleasant, but both the hostess and manager were rude.

Food was amazing! We got the beef from the hibachi and it was cooked perfectly and tasted great! We also got two rolls and they were very fresh. Service was great, hibachi chef was awesome!

Receipt

Typically I love Tokyo Steakhouse in Lewes. Now I live closer to Salisbury. So I ordered takeout from this location. I did an online order which goes through Grubhub. They messed up my order at Tokyo and left out the tuna in a tuna, avocado, cucumber roll. They left out the best part of the roll and I was charged for the roll with tuna. I called and spoke with a manager (she didn't give me her name or anything). There was zero accountability taken for the error. Mistakes happen but there was no need for her to try and tell me I didn't order the correct roll when my email receipt clearly stated tuna in it. All that needed to be said was "Sorry for our mistake, unfortunately we can't refund you because your order came through Grubhub. You can reach out to them for a refund though." Or even offer a gift card for the mistake. Bottom line is you don't get sassy and talk down to or belittle a paying customer. The customer doesn't care how the mistake was made, but what can you do to resolve it. On top of this- When I came in to pick up my order I was told it would be 2 minutes. Okay no problem, so I sat down in the waiting area expecting the host to let me know when my food is ready. I sat there for about 10 minutes before I checked in again (not trying to be that person that keeps asking) and my food had been done sitting right next to her probably for a few minutes. It was clear she forgot all about me. Just poor service and management needs to learn how to handle themselves and act appropriately when things don't go just right.

This food and service is great people are nice the chefs are cool funny the cook the food in front of you they are quick and caring nice great Japanese Quizine very tasting come here it's Very Good Come Now if your in the Salisbury Area

Hibachi Chicken & Steak

This Establishment is a definite "NO" for me I ordered the chicken and steak which came with rice and vegetables they fry the rice first but by the time everything else was finished the rice was cool and too much Soy was added making the food very salty,So tho the chef was friendly and the service was nice the food was not.I sent the food back and they prepared some food to go for my inconvenience but I will not be returning to this establishment . P.S The Service was A1 so I'll give this establishment 2 stars instead of 1

Filet mignon and chicken habachi

It wasn't bad habachi but Eastmoon is a better habachi joint by far! And they also had a pretty cool fish tank.

Empty waiting area, 2pm reservation and still waiting over 20 minutes

We started with the shrimp salad on toast points, and I had an outstanding espresso martini. The appetizer was tasty, although it was very creamy such that I could not visibly recognize the shrimp. For dinner, I ordered the seafood Alfredo, and my wife ordered the market-price "Lump Crabcake" entrée. The Alfredo was very good, although the scallops were bay scallops rather than sea scallops, and for the price I expected a little more seafood. Her entrée included vegetables, while I had to order mine separately as an additional side. The biggest disappointment was the crabcakes. Despite being promoted as "lump crabcake," they appeared to be mostly filler with finely shredded crab, with perhaps 15% lump crabmeat. The flavor was good, but not exceptional, and I found the name of the entrée misleading. I am accustomed to a lump crabcake being predominantly lump crab. For dessert, we shared the bread pudding, which seemed unsure whether it wanted to be bread pudding or apple pie. It was fine, but not especially memorable. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere, received excellent service, and thought much of the food was good to very good. However, the crabcakes were quite disappointing, especially given the description and market price. Our bill before tip came close to $150, which was a bit of a shock considering the quality and portions. Calvin and the espresso martini were definite highlights, but the crabcakes did not live up to expectations.
