The only thing I don't like is dried sushi and they have several rolls that are fried. But there's so many other rolls to try. We always leave so full and a couple of hours later, my husband and I are still thinking about how delicious Kobe is. We go at least 2-3 times a month but I wish I could go like every day. Lol. What I don't really like is the fried sushi. As far as the Hibachi i haven't tried it so I can review that. It does however look delicious. I'll add pictures later.

He became rude and unprofessional after being asked about steamed rice, even yelling at the waitress in front of customers. The cooking process was also very concerning. Raw chicken was placed next to vegetables, shrimp and steak were cooked together on the same grill, and the same utensils were used for everything without being changed. Food was heavily cross-contaminated, and leftover meat scraps were scraped into the vegetables before serving. To make matters worse, our party was charged two separate 18% gratuity fees because we split the checks, which made no sense to us. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and not what we expected from a hibachi restaurant.

She was so friendly and appreciative of us coming in- she did her best. Apparently it's under a new ownership. Things are changing and they are between 2 different menus. It's a little confusing. We ordered from the Lunch menu which for now is 11-2 Monday to Friday - for now .. and it says $11.99 but I was changed $13.99 for one of the lunches. They came with soup- which we got at the END of our meal after asking a couple times. Apparently because they don't use the lunch menu much they don't make the soup for the lunch combo so they have to make one up when a lunch combo is ordered. We got Chicken pot Thai and pork curry. The pad Thai was decent .. we asked for mild but it had no spice at all. The curry we asked for mild and it was decently spiced but the veggies tasted old and the curry was gritty. Like it was not cooked properly. Potstickers were clearly pre frozen and thrown in the fryer. Ms Veida made the experience with her customer service but the food was nothing I will go back for. I hope maybe the new owner will make some good improvements.

Kim's has always been our favorite Korean BBQ spot in San Antonio because of the great customer…read moreservice and how welcomed the staff always made us feel. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. My husband and I ordered the all-you-can-eat option. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes just to get our drinks before our waiter took our order. Our meat didn't arrive for another 15 minutes, even though the restaurant wasn't busy aside from a larger group in the back. To make matters worse, our appetizers came out after the meat, and one of the appetizer orders was incorrect. After dropping off our food, our waiter disappeared for about 15 minutes. My husband had to flag him down just to get drink refills, order another round of meat, and have our dirty dishes cleared from the table. Once we placed our second meat order, we waited another 15 minutes for just eight pieces of meat, and that was only after my husband had to remind the waiter twice. Because of the constant delays waiting for our food to arrive, we didn't even get to eat our money's worth of the all-you-can-eat option. We spent more time waiting than actually eating. To top it all off, when we asked for the check, it took a long time for the waiter to bring it. After dropping it off, he never came back to collect the payment. We eventually gave up waiting, and my husband had to walk to the front counter just to pay our bill. We've always enjoyed coming to Kim's, which is why this experience was so disappointing. We understand that every restaurant can have an off day, but there was little attentiveness throughout our entire meal despite the restaurant not being busy. Sadly, based on this experience, we won't be returning.

The authentic, budget conscious, customer service oriented, fresh produce + hot, ready-to-eat meals…read moreoffering, high quality, variety-filled, well upkept Asian grocery stores are a scarce commodity in this city. The Seoul Asian Food Market & Cafe meets all these criteria. The authentic and high quality factors are met with flying colors. A couple Korean employees, plus, yes, Hispanic workers, etcetera, which tells me it is owned by people who definitely know their product. The best selling brands in Korea, including Lotte, Nongshim, Ottogi, are stocked in this little grocery store. The budget conscious can rest assure that although we are not protected from inflation, as far as paying far less than the analogous HEB or Kroger international section upcharges, Seoul has you covered. The customer service enhancements to your grocery store experience should be appreciated here. All the workers I encountered during my latest visit (in addition to all my previous ones over the years) have been excellent-- whether the owner trying his best to locate products I was on the hunt for, the back room stockers whom may not have been able to speak English, yet still made the effort to give me big smiles, the checkout lady who was more than glad to do multiple price checks, the cafe employee who was ready and willing to offer recommendations and a welcoming smile. The hot food criteria has more than earned it's place with the inside Seoul Market Cafe-- note that this does not include the full service establishment connected next door, which includes drinks and sit down dining services, owned by the same wonderful people but with a separate entrance. They have pre-packaged ready to go meals, including all your Korean favorites including house made bulgogi, bibimbap, gimbap (seaweed rice rolls), kimchi. Nice area to sit down before and/or after gathering all your Korean grocery needs! The few areas where Seoul could benefit from some improvements are their store upkeep and the stocked shelves. Unfortunately, many times when I have visited they are out of stock of things and even more frustrating because they have such great products. Is that if you go during certain days of the week they are actually in boxes all over the store. The box is making not only difficult to navigate through the already small store, but customers are unable to access many of the goods. There is also the problem of price tags being mismatched and many missing the prices altogether. Although running these items to the front for a price check is an option, it is obviously something that is inconvenient as a regular necessity. The freshness of the produce honestly is less than ideal. You can tell a lot have been sitting around for longer than necessary. Without the regular water sprays, they also suffer from produce drying out. The variety, while sufficient for this size sore, I do often find myself wishing the store were a little larger to accompany a larger variety. With these few improvements, this little neighborhood grocery store would easily receive my five stars, that being said, I would not hesitate to revisit-- indeed, I would not hesitate to continue my semi regular visits for Korean groceries!
