We used to be regular customers at China Town in LaFollette and always enjoyed eating there, but…read moreafter our experience on Father's Day, we won't be returning. Our almost 2-year-old son was eating with us, and like most toddlers, he can be a messy eater. A few noodles ended up on the floor, and the male server gave our child a dirty look that made it seem like he was disgusted with him. Families with young children should not be made to feel unwelcome or judged over normal toddler behavior. The service overall was disappointing. Throughout our entire meal, no one ever came by to offer drink refills or check on us. To make matters worse, the bathrooms were very dirty and clearly needed attention. We were disappointed because we had been loyal customers for a long time, but after this experience, we have decided not to come back. It's unfortunate to see the quality of service decline so much at a place we used to enjoy.

There used to be a really…read moregood Chinese restaurant in Knoxville...honestly i don't remember its name or location but it doesn't exist anymore. My mom said Asia Kitchen is the best Chinese in the city now. Unfortunately if that is correct, then it makes me very sad. I have eaten at "Real" Chinese restaurants before and this is not close imo. I got Szechuan Beef...this is supposed to be a very spicy dish. My order was not spicy at all...not saying it was bland, but it didn't have the "kick" I was expecting. My mom shared a whole steamed fish with her friends. They did enjoy it, but it wasn't for me. I have decided to bump my rating up to four stars because of the wonton/egg drop soup. I didn't even realize this was a thing. We got one large serving and it was plenty for the table. Finally the reason i didn't give 5 stars was because of the table service. The others brought wine , but i ordered a Diet Coke when we were seated. Unfortunately it never arrived...our server acknowledged my order, but I guess she forgot during the dinner rush. I did have water so I didn't complain. Overall dinner was ok...it was very nice that we were allowed to take our time.
