The cocktails were ridiculously creative (including ingredients like soursop juice, eucalyptus, charred pineapple, worm salt, basil, cucumber etc--obviously not all in the same cocktail), and served in dramatic glasses with fun garnishes. In terms of food, we were four people and we shared four starters (yellow-fin ceviche, kampacho and blue fin sashimi (which they call laminadas), and a shrimp "envelope"--each one was remarkable, and served with flavorful sauces that complimented the dish. Our mains were also good, though not as spectacular--they offer Catch of the Day (mahi mahi today) prepared in three different styles. The plain one (pan seared with shallot butter) was nothing special, but the option served over spinach with a cream sauce was incredible. The grilled shrimp main was also excellent as was the chocolaty dessert. Overall a delightful meal with excellent service and cocktails!

Turns out everything we had was really fresh and delicious. Personal favorites were the Camarones al Ajillo, the Pulpo, the Yellowfin ceviche, the Mahi-mahi, and the suckling pig. Which was basically most of what we ordered... Taking off a star because there were a few options on the menu that weren't available, which was a little disappointing. And despite how delicious everything was, it was all fairly simple and traditional, without much wow factor to account for the higher prices. The service was fantastic as well, however, so this is a definite recommend!

Luckily when we got here it all made sense why we couldn't figure out what the menu was. When we went there was a burger stand, seafood stand, pizza stand, a cocktail bar, paletas, and donuts/coffee. When we walked in, only the burger, pizza, and bar staff handed us menus and explained. We ended up both going with the burger stand because they had tacos for me and my boyfriend chose the Mexa Burger. My tacos and guacamole were super good and had great presentation. My boyfriend was enjoying the Mexa burger until he started suffering from the heat of the jalapeños in it. Only complaint was that my boyfriend wished the burger was cooked more. The ambiance is so cool in there. The ceiling was lined with cute umbrellas and the seating was casual picnic tables. I loved the idea of the stands, I just I had a bigger appetite and wanted to drink that night so I could try it all. Our waiter was nice and the service was quick. If you order from different stands, you have to pay separately which is a little less streamlined, but like I said before it's a cool concept. Would definitely go again for drinks and try the seafood stand!

The batter was light and I liked the freshness. We had the Camarones asados (shrimp) and this was one of my faves. The shrimps were grilled and had a really nice sauce on top. My favorite was the calimar lolingo which is calamari in a peanut garlic sauce. Sooo good. You use the bread the dunk in the sauce. My family ordered the Gordita and they all like it. For the desert we had the flan and it was a perfect end to the meal. I will be back

I'd go back just for that. We also had the special oysters (the oyster dish with caviar). Also excellent! Our last dish was a grilled fish. Perfectly cooked. Lots of flavor. Great entree! Definitely was worth the splurge. The only disappointment was the shrimp dish we had. The shrimp themselves were great, but it just seemed too salty for us. Oh well, maybe we were just spoiled by all the other dishes.
