How would I know? Well theres been empty bottles laying around the school and people always talk about how they have a vape/pen in their backpack. That just proves how easy it is to bring these types of stuff to school since there's no supervision when it comes to backpacks. If you can't wait till you get home then it's really an addiction you need help with. There was also many fights throughout the year and the most we had in a day was 3 I think? Then there's kids who aren't black spamming the N word. They always make racist jokes which i'm not going to say but that just proves how racist and rude the students can be. Weirdly enough, there's LMS exposing accounts where they post off guard photos of people without their consent and even call them names. Me personally I find it weird you're exposing people just because you don't like them. It doesn't benefit you in any way possible it just makes you the weird one. Besides all this there's actually some sweet people who don't act like what I mentioned. And honestly there is good things and bad things about this school and if you have a nice friend group that isn't involved around drama you'll be fine I hope. This school just needs way better supervision in the school and online.

Nothing was done when issues of racism and bullying were brought to the principal's attention. Nothing was done to make it a safe and supportive environment for children of color or kids of from lower income families. Over the years I have continued to hear stories similar to mine. The sentiment I got is that they will gladly take your money, but not care for the wellbeing of your kids nor create an environment conducive for their spiritual growth... which is the whole point of sending them to a Christian school. I do not recommend anyone enrolling their child here.

My family was told that the children of color were being mistreated and we didn't listen. I was bullied by the children and faculty. There is nothing about this school that is Christian-like. The history teacher, Mr. Larson, said in class that all black people are on welfare, Mexicans need to learn English and that the Holocaust was simply survival of the fittest and to be proud to be German. This teacher was never fired nor reprimanded as far as I know. I was called the N-word multiple times and when my father talked to the principal about it the principal said, "Well aren't you Polynesian" because my father is. Wasn't concerned at all about my well-being or the behavior of the kid who called me racial slurs he was more concerned about me getting over it. I've gotten updates on the school over the years and keep hearing numerous horrendous stories about other kid's of color experiences. Another black family pulled their kid out from the school this semester (Fall 2022). The school upholds racism and has created a hostile environment for kids of color. All people should avoid this school. Oh and when my mother complained about this school because of my experience they contacted her and said "I'm sorry you feel that way". Not sorry your daughter experienced such horrific treatment. It's slap after slap in the face with this place.

As parents, we were looking for a school that doesn't just teach academics but actively walks alongside families to equip students in their faith and social lives. Because it is a smaller, Christ-centered community, every student is deeply known, mentored, and cared for by a staff that is firmly grounded in their faith. What makes the Elliot experience special: * Spiritual Growth: Weekly chapels and intentional small groups provide a space for students to be equipped and grow in their walk with Christ. * Intentional Mentorship: The teachers and coaches are incredible mentors. Our daughter was on the cheerleading squad, and the coaches did so much more than teach technique--they encouraged and challenged her spiritually throughout the season. * Academic Excellence: The school is WASC accredited, offering College Prep, Honors, and AP courses to ensure students are ready for the future. * The "Full" High School Experience: Don't let the small size fool you! Students have incredible opportunities to get involved through: * Athletics: Cross country, flag football, volleyball, cheer, basketball, softball, baseball, and golf. * Student Life: Formal dances, pep rallies, and various clubs. If you are looking for a place where your child will be challenged academically, supported spiritually, and given the chance to participate in all the "fun things" high school has to offer, I highly encourage you to visit Jim Elliot. It is a wonderful community where your student can truly belong.

My kiddos definitely had different experiences there because of the kids and types of families in the class. My eldest, the parents in the class were horrible! Uppity, judgmental and snooty. Horrible people who acted like their kids are impressionable (not!). I've actually learned later on that their kids were horrible bullies, which is not surprising considering how their moms acted (the dads were fine, moms were drama). If their kid's status was threatened by a smarter, more athletic child, best believe some moms in that class won't hesitate to bully a 12 year old. My youngest, on the other hand, had an amazing time at STA. Her class was tight knit thanks to better parents with excellent parenting and people skills. It was an inclusive and supportive group. They were focused on the kids and not the parent clicks. Definitely a night and day experience.

The younger of my daughters enrolled there was threaten by another student multiple times to not harm her but kill her. The harassment went on for two years. I can understand if a child has a hard home life but the parents should have the child analyzed by a psychiatric dept. I guess the school was more worried about the money and volunteering that students family was able to offer that she was protected more than my child. It has made me feel there is not higher standard to hold child and their families accountable for the harassment my child received for two years there. I would hope they would realize that any threats of violence should be taken seriously against another student multiple times from the same student would not go without my daughter's safety first being in mind. This day and age with how Christians are always targets from those who don't believe in the divinity, my child should have been protected better. There are a lot of great parents there that support the school, but a lot of entitled kinds. Not very humble nor as Christian as I'd hope. The school does have a good curriculum and has a lot to offer education wise to prepare your children for the next phase of high school.

The school has helped our son grow not only academically, but also as a person, bringing a sense of light and joy into his life that carries over into our home every day. St. Peter provides an excellent balance between strong academic standards and the development of character and values. The foundation of faith is thoughtfully integrated, helping students build a moral compass rooted in kindness, respect, and compassion. Even for families who may not be particularly religious, the emphasis on values and personal growth is incredibly meaningful. The school nurtures children to become happy, loving, and thoughtful individuals who understand what truly matters. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the St. Peter community. It has truly been a blessing for our family, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I am not a parent at St. Peter's just tried to enroll my kids because our school shut down. I scheduled a tour for a Friday with Terrie Hinders and I brought my two kids with me so they could see the school also. They were very excited to meet new staff and see potential classrooms. As we were touring their future classrooms the girls were checking out all the fun stuff that the classes had to offer including touching items in the classrooms that would be available to them next year. We then scheduled to come back and take the assessment test on Monday. Terrie also informed me that the assessment test is not a make it or break it. There's two different classes for elementary school and they split the classes by gender and intelligence. Staff will also move your child halfway through the school year if they feel they aren't excelling in the class they started in. We came back Monday went through with the assessment test and she said we would know the results tomorrow. Tomorrow came and no call or email. Throughout the week I called and emailed with no answer about the test. It took over a week to get voicemail back informing us that we were not going to be offered enrollment . So of course I want to know why so I called and actually got to talk to her finally after a week. The reason my kids didn't get accepted is because when I went on the tour with them on Friday they touched stuff in the classrooms that wasn't theirs. Items available to students if they were in said classroom. So technically playing with toys in future classrooms they were viewing/touring. They're 5 and 7. She also mentioned touching something on the teachers desk that wasn't theirs while the teacher was in her classroom talking to girls at her desk. So if that wasn't enough, if they decided that Friday why would you waste our time and string us along including coming back on Monday to take an assessment test and waiting over a week for results when you already made a decision. Then telling me if I didn't bring them to the tour this would probably be a different outcome. So just a warning to all future parents of St. Peter's if you're going in to tour the school don't bring your kids. The minute that you walk through the doors they're judging you so tread lightly.
