This school is awful please take your kids to a different school. Sadly I go here and I've heard…read moreand seen everything and students actually bring vapes and buzzballs to school. How would I know? Well theres been empty bottles laying around the school and people always talk about how they have a vape/pen in their backpack. That just proves how easy it is to bring these types of stuff to school since there's no supervision when it comes to backpacks. If you can't wait till you get home then it's really an addiction you need help with. There was also many fights throughout the year and the most we had in a day was 3 I think? Then there's kids who aren't black spamming the N word. They always make racist jokes which i'm not going to say but that just proves how racist and rude the students can be. Weirdly enough, there's LMS exposing accounts where they post off guard photos of people without their consent and even call them names. Me personally I find it weird you're exposing people just because you don't like them. It doesn't benefit you in any way possible it just makes you the weird one. Besides all this there's actually some sweet people who don't act like what I mentioned. And honestly there is good things and bad things about this school and if you have a nice friend group that isn't involved around drama you'll be fine I hope. This school just needs way better supervision in the school and online.

As parents, we were looking for a school that doesn't just teach academics but actively walks alongside families to equip students in their faith and social lives. Because it is a smaller, Christ-centered community, every student is deeply known, mentored, and cared for by a staff that is firmly grounded in their faith. What makes the Elliot experience special: * Spiritual Growth: Weekly chapels and intentional small groups provide a space for students to be equipped and grow in their walk with Christ. * Intentional Mentorship: The teachers and coaches are incredible mentors. Our daughter was on the cheerleading squad, and the coaches did so much more than teach technique--they encouraged and challenged her spiritually throughout the season. * Academic Excellence: The school is WASC accredited, offering College Prep, Honors, and AP courses to ensure students are ready for the future. * The "Full" High School Experience: Don't let the small size fool you! Students have incredible opportunities to get involved through: * Athletics: Cross country, flag football, volleyball, cheer, basketball, softball, baseball, and golf. * Student Life: Formal dances, pep rallies, and various clubs. If you are looking for a place where your child will be challenged academically, supported spiritually, and given the chance to participate in all the "fun things" high school has to offer, I highly encourage you to visit Jim Elliot. It is a wonderful community where your student can truly belong.

Every staff member exemplifies and encourages biblical principles during instruction time and during every interaction during the school day. My son has been positively empowered to become who God has destined him to be, be it, while in class, during school events, and off campus. We take Jim Elliots' spirit with us even into our community during outreach. It's an incredible school, no other like it. There are several sports you can join, and everyone makes the team. Many students receive award recognition as well as full scholarships to prestigious colleges, like Jessup and many others. I highly recommend you enroll your student and become an Elliot Eagle, Today!

However, she was a transfer there during her senior year and every senior wants to have a great experience and for the most part, she did have good experiences, but my complaint as a mother would be the lack of care during the organization of the school events as well as communication in general . From the very beginning, how her transfer was done was horrible . We also couldn't really get a hold of her counselor which we obviously needed to get in touch with to be able to start her school year, but he had an extremely bad attitude from the beginning and it seemed to be like that throughout the rest of the school year. I was trying to have my daughter not go to the school, but she insisted because of the type of classes that they had to offer . The attendance office seem to for the most part have an attitude problem one in particular Latina lady always seems to have an attitude and give my daughter an extremely hard time! They often didn't really have any answers to basic questions! The assistant vice principal was a student who lacks care and didn't really provide accurate communication. He often seem to lie, and when I would catch him in lies, he would then later change his story or move the goal post to deter the conversation. She was also harassed by another young lady in which she went to the office to report the incident and was told that she would be later on, followed up with a solution and that never happened. The senior prom was orchestrated with the most lack of care. The senior prom tickets was basically a little cut out piece of binder paper that had sloppy handwriting that pretty much say that this is your ticket. I wouldn't recommend this school to any student. They have a lot of typical things that occur in high school but there are a lot of fights there a lot of illegal activity that occurs in the bathrooms and the type of teaching that was done wasn't really all that good. It seems like the teachers for the most part were there for a paycheck didn't really challenge the students and for a parent to witness their child go from kindergarten to 12th grade overall her entire senior year was by far the most disappointing.
