She came from a traditional play-based preschool, and I was initially unsure about Montessori, but it has been one of the best decisions we've made. The thematic units are thoughtfully planned, and she comes home excited to teach us about continents, animals, science, and so much more. The individualized approach allows each child to learn at their own pace, and she has been able to work well above grade level in math and language. The teachers are wonderful--not only do they provide an excellent academic foundation, but they've also done an incredible job helping my daughter develop emotional regulation and confidence. She genuinely loves going to school every day. They strike a great balance between a rigorous curriculum and fun, engaging activities, and the facility is always clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this school!

She comes home sharing all the things she has learned, singing songs and looking for books or toys she can share that goes with their monthly unit. She loves her teachers, all the art projects and fun events they have all year long. My son just recently started in the toddler program and he is loving being at school too. He comes home singing songs, pointing to colors and counting. He talks a lot about his friends and teachers. We love seeing the pictures of the kids working and doing fun activities each month. It is so nice to know that they are safe and taken well care of. It is even nicer that the director and staff go above and beyond for the kids. They truly care about their happiness and growth!

We've honestly had such a great experience with the school and the teachers. Ms. Shanika has been especially amazing. She has always cared for our kids like they were her own and has gone above and beyond for them. One thing that really stands out to me is with my younger son. He just wasn't interested in reading and still wouldn't start reading even at 5. Ms. Shanika put in so much extra effort and patience with him, and before we knew it, he was sitting in the library corner reading book after book. As a parent, seeing that change was really special. The kids also got such a strong academic foundation. They learned all the basics really well, and I was honestly amazed that my older son knew his multiplication tables by the time he was 6. But what I appreciate most is that they teach more than academics. Respect, kindness, caring for others, independence and good values are a big part of the environment, which I think is so important in today's world. We're really grateful for all the teachers and especially Ms. Shanika for the love, patience and extra effort she has given our kids over the years. It truly feels like they were cared for as her own, and we'll always have a special place in our hearts for this school.

Both of our girls, Legacy and Honor, grew up here. Legacy started in 2022 when she was just two, and Honor started when she was about a year and a half. Legacy stayed until she started kindergarten at Coral Hollow, and this year Honor said goodbye as she started TK. Looking back, we realize just how much this school did for them. The structure, the organization, the care, the individual attention. Every Friday, the girls would bring home their work and my wife and I would honestly be blown away. They had an app where they sent pics all the time. Throughout the week, we'd get pictures of the girls working, learning, interacting with their classmates doing things that I honestly didn't even realize kids their age were capable of. As parents, that level of connection was priceless. And the teachers were amazing. A huge thank you to Miss Shanika, Miss Raji, Miss Jenny, Miss Farsana, Miss Sunita, and all of the other staff whose names I might be forgetting. You cared for our girls, you taught them, encouraged them and treated them with so much patience and respect. Our girls still talk about you, and still ask to visit. It wasn't only the academics, though. It was the environment they created, the small group attention, The individualized care, the way they celebrated birthdays and holidays, all the little moments that made the school feel really special. It genuinely makes me emotional thinking back. Montessori on the Prairie helped plant the first seeds of our girls' education and gave them a strong foundation that they'll carry with them for years to come. We'll always be grateful for the love, care and respect you gave our daughters. Thank you for being such an important part of our lives. I honestly couldn't recommend Montessori on the Prairie more highly.

We believe all the EGM staff are caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the students. We have complete confidence knowing our kids are in such good hands every day. While on the phone with the owner Sara, I got teary eyed (I might have cried a little) as I realized from that conversation I had found my kids preschool. I knew my son would be safe, loved, and well educated. I signed him up that day knowing that he was too young to attend but that at 18 months he would be in safe hands. Fast forward 5 years later, my son graduated and goes to elementary school and my daughter still attends. The teachers are amazing. Toddler teacher Mimi is wonderful. She just gets kiddos, period. Ms Cheryl is still my son's favorite teacher. I could continue on endlessly about how EGMS has made the preschool experience so amazing.

It is rare to find a place that balances rigorous academic excellence with such a genuine focus on character development and respect. We have watched our youngest (now 4) blossom here over the last two years. The growth in his education level is nothing short of outstanding--he is learning concepts I wouldn't have expected at his age, yet he is doing it with joy and curiosity. But beyond the academics, what impresses me most is the school's commitment to constantly bringing in new activities and enhancing the learning environment. They never settle; they are always finding ways to be better. A few amazing days of the year for you and the family: All the Holidays - The school ensures we celebrate holidays from across all cultures and life. Fathers' Night: An amazing way to connect their children with their fathers. One of the best moments I look forward to every year. I Mother Tea Time: Another amazing experience for the children to spend some quality academic and fun time with their moms. This standard of excellence isn't limited to just one teacher; it is consistent across the board. Every staff member, at every level, cares deeply about these children. If you are looking for a place that will truly invest in your child's future, this is it. We couldn't be happier.

My son started the school year pretty shy and apprehensive and has blossomed into a bubbly and social preschooler. It's been an amazing thing to see. The school gives us regular updates throughout the week on the Brightwheel app and anytime I've had any questions or needed some time to chat, I would hear back from his teachers promptly. We get photos through the app as well that are always exciting. Sometimes it's a snap of playtime, a celebration, or completing a milestone and receiving kudos. Along with the basics of letters and numbers, my son has gotten to learn about different cultural holidays and has loved telling us what he's learned. From the moment you see the space, you can feel the difference -- her home and large backyard offer room for children to move, play, and grow in a calm, nurturing environment. It feels like family, not a crowded commercial center. The children are well cared for, fed fresh organic vegetables and even home-grown fruits, and they come home happy, clean, and secure every day. What truly sets Harvest House apart is the focus on early learning, especially reading and math. Ms. Sylvia follows an old-school, pen-and-paper approach that emphasizes literacy, numbers, and repetition over constant arts and crafts. I've had two daughters here -- my first (Delaney) attended from age 3 to 5, and my second (Henley) started as a newborn at just 2 months old and is still with Ms. Sylvia now at age 5, entering kindergarten next year. My youngest has already surpassed the kindergarten curriculum: she knew sight words by age 2.5, began reading by 3.5, and now reads at a second-grade level. When my first daughter was born, I called Harvest House Daycare when she was six months old and there was no space available. At the time, I enrolled her in an expensive, brand-name private school believing the higher price would guarantee better care and education. I later learned that branding and cost do not equal quality. The structure, academic focus, and individualized attention at Harvest House far exceeded what we experienced elsewhere. We were incredibly fortunate to later secure a spot, and both of my daughters thrived here academically, socially, and emotionally. The price is absolutely worth it when you consider the long-term growth, confidence, and academic advantage your child gains. With reliable hours from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., genuine care, and a strong academic foundation, Harvest House Daycare offers something rare -- a place where children are truly prepared for school and life, not just watched during the day. All of my children have been with them since they were infants (2 months & 5 months old). Their day to day is structured which helps create a routine for the kids and they know what to expect each day. The program includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks which are all nutritious and my kids love (I give credit for my kiddos being great eaters, they love veggies, to the balanced meals they receive). Even from infancy formula is provided if needed along with food plans outlined once solids are introduced. Once old enough they facilitate a preschool program, my two year old can hold a pencil correctly and does his worksheets daily. The early introduction to these skills continue on to help prepare for kindergarten. We decided to keep our kids at Harvest House until they started kindergarten, and credit the curriculum and dedication they set in place of reading, sight words, and math to setting them up for success. My 8 and 5 yr old progressed at different paces but both felt more confidence going into kindergarten. In the eight years we have been with them they haven't been closed outside the Holidays and Vacation days outlined at the beginning of the year, providing us working parents with the reliability and stability needed. Harvest House has been a blessing for our family creating a safe, caring, and structured program for our kids. My eight year old still wants to go back to ZaZa's and Papa's on her school breaks. Truly could not recommend Harvest House more as top notch child care provider. Ainsley, Hadley, Dalton, Doug and Kali
