I love that they have a "great room" in the center of the facility and that the classrooms lead out to their outside yard where there are alot of space and play options. My daughter adjusted super quickly, it was her first time in care and she was only going 3 days a week, but she would have loved to be there every day if she could. I highly recommend Writestart and their team, leaving your child with someone is not an easy choice but I am super happy with my choice.

I would definitely recommend this school to anyone seeking preschool care. I have previous…read moreexperiences with Kindercare and Wee Tech preschool. During my many visits to other schools I have noticed a distinct lack of attention and care that my kids need! When you first enter WriteStart you are either greeted by Caroline or Laura, they are both great people. My daughter really loves Caroline (it could be all the band aids and love - but who's counting), Denice is often in the kitchen and makes these delicious burritos every Wednesday (and although I encourage her to open her own restaurant, she is very happy at work!)... I take my daughter, Angie, into her class, her teachers (Sylvia and Holly) are there to greet her and make her feel at home.. The first time I dropped Ang off, she was crying and so was I. By the end of the week, Angie didn't want to go home at night! My other child Cecilia, really excelled during after school hours there. We weren't able to get her into the after school program, so I needed to have a school that was available during my hours! This place has been great! I've been trying to find more websites to tell people about this school!

However, shortly after I discovered my son would not return to school and my daughters daycare was closed until further notice. Unfortunately, since I'm an essential worker and taking a leave of absence from work was not an option for me, I googled many daycares, but this one caught my eye. Not to far from work. So I made the call and im glad I did. I can't remember the ladies name but she was nice and very informative. A day went by and then I received a call from Erwin, later had a tour and OMG! I loved their campus and that night I kept telling my kids I think mommy found a new daycare for you. By day 3, my kids were enrolled. I was set ! So I thought. Then came August, back to school for my son and unfortunately since he is school age at that time there was no one at the campus to assist with distance learning. A month went by and it worked out for us !! For that I am forever thankful for !! My diva daughter loves !!!! LOVES!!! Her school as she calls it since she thinks it only belongs to her, she looks forward to seeing Miss Lischia and the treasure box lol. My son also loves it and enjoys his time there. Recently, Thursday January 21st,2021 as usual I ask "how was school" and my sons responded "mom!! Today was amazing it was the best day of my life !! Miss Tyanne took us outside and she played with us and she was running mom it was amazing " My heart melted, just seeing his face and his expressions over Miss Tyanne's interaction was simply the best !! Sorry for this long review but there's so much more I have to say but for now this shall do. Highly recommend The Campus Downtown

I have a full time daycare but needed a drop in place to take my son the days his regular daycare is closed. I messaged her the day before, and she did have availability. She sent pictures through out the day to show how my son was doing. (which was greatly appreciated) Her place is clean, and they do a lot with the kiddos. Will definitely be using Teacher Tanisha again in the future!

PARENTS SHOULD KNOW WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON…read more I would NOT recommend this daycare based on my experience as a parent. What I saw and what my child experienced was extremely concerning, and I feel like parents deserve to know what was happening when they weren't there. There were days when it was around 105°F outside, my child would come home and tell me the children were still being taken outside and expected to walk approximately 40 minutes to the library and go to the park, including very young children and toddlers. The kids would be sweating, extremely hot, and complaining that they felt like they were going to pass out. Meanwhile, the provider would be inside in the air conditioning. My child said they felt relief when they got back because the ac was really cold in there after their 40 minute walk. But that it would get hot again because Taniesha would turn it off as soon as the kids arrived back. There were also times when the children were taken to the library or park without the provider. She would stay behind while staff were responsible for taking the children out. As a parent, I found that extremely concerning. Another major problem was how little free play the children were getting. My child told me they were made to do worksheets and structured activities for a large part of the day instead of being allowed to play normally. Children were openly complaining that they hated daycare because they weren't allowed to play. This wasn't just one child complaining multiple children were unhappy about the same thing. What bothers me most is that us parents weren't there to see what was happening during the day. From the outside, everything can look perfectly fine when you drop your child off and pick them up. But the day-to-day experience was very different. I would strongly encourage every parent considering this daycare to ask EXACTLY how much time the children spend outside, what happens during extreme heat, who accompanies children on walks to the library or park, who is supervising them when the provider leaves, and how much actual free play they receive. Infants and toddlers cannot advocate for themselves. Parents trust daycare providers to keep their children safe. That trust should be taken seriously.
