The staff were very welcoming and accommodating as I had an early check in. The room was extremely spacious, comfortable bed, shower head was the best, a variety of coffee and tea selection to choose from in the room, and a mini refrigerator was so convenient. I stayed on the 11th floor facing the Citi building and I was also able to take in the beauty of the sunrise. Absolutely stunning! There was also a restaurant in the lobby and breakfast was included, but I did not participate this time around as I was occupied. I, however did enjoy the gym in the hotel and the WiFi was super fast especially in the evening hours as I had to log into work remotely. Overall! I'd highly recommend staying here if you'd like to be close to the canary wharf area.

We were greeted warmly by the staff, and found our room comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, but nothing special. It also took someone about 20 minutes and asking twice for any milk and sugar to be brought to our table, by then which our coffee was cold. From this hotel it is very easy to take public transport to all the major attractions in London, which we did, and we enjoyed being able to come back to quiet area after our trips out. There were plenty of restaurants and even a grocery store around the hotel as well. Over all I would stay here again if I find myself back in London.

I only thing that made me give them a 4-star rating is, it the entrance to the hotel is odd, and there's no clear signage so if you or your uber haven't been to the area when you are first arriving it, is hard to find. The place is close to many ethnic restaurants in the area as well as a convenient store. It's also about 15 minutes walking distance from the DLR train station. Staff was nice and friendly, and our booking included breakfast, which was served from 7:30a to 9:30a. Beware that this is a college dorm style room where you have to share bathrooms and showers, so bring some flip flop or shower slippers with you. They provide shampoo and soup in a dispenser, but they both have the same color, which made me thought they must be shower gel and not shampoo for your hair at all. I brought my own shampoo and conditioner, so it wasn't an issue for me. There was a small fridge in our room stocked with drinks that you could purchase. A coffee maker was provided with complimentary tea and coffee as well as 2 bottles of water. There was a hairdryer, which I was glad because the travel size that I brought was crap. Reason for the 3 stars: minus one for not having any lift/elevator to our room, which is located on the 3rd floor. We each have a 30 something pounds luggage, so dragging them up those stairs was quite a task. Minus one more star for the heating system in our room. The two of us shared a double bed in a small room that did not have a closet. It was already hot when we got in. We tried turning down the furnace that was placed next to the window but to no avail. The only good thing was we were in a corner room, so we were able to prop our door open to let some cool air in. Personally, I probably would not stay here again because I am spoiled and prefer establishment with an elevator so I don't have to break a sweat with dragging my luggage up and down the place. However, if you don't mind not having a lift/elevator or want to relive your college days of sharing bathrooms with strangers, then Docklands Lodge may be an option.

The staff could be better, but they are a chain so have low expectations. Nice that there is reception, lots of places are just apt where you have to pickup keys in another building. I would stay for work, why tourist stay here is beyond me, its over 30 min commute to sights.

Maja was excellent throughout the whole reservation and visiting process! It is about a 10 minute walk to the Canada Water station, and in a few minutes, you're in Canary Wharf! I definitely recommend this place. Beautiful, peaceful, and the location is great. There's a pub next door, and a Tesco (I think it's TESCO) about 15-minute's walk away. Value? Priceless.

The real problem came when their hot water heater broke, even though it is said to be only 5 years old. It happened on Saturday and they said they could not get anyone to fix it until Monday. We asked to be moved for the time as sightseeing without showers doesn't go well. They only agreed to move us for one night. They sent us to one hotel where they said they had booked rooms and turned out they didn't actually have the rooms. The hotel sent us to another one of the hotels they run and we end up being put in rooms the size of closets. Come monday, no one came to fix the heater. We asked to be moved again and they refused, and told us to find a hotel ourselves. Without a phone it was impossible for us to book a room or call a cab. There is only someone here for a couple hours a day and while they are trying to be helpful their company does not care about their renters at all. Also the laundry machines are a joke, and there is no lift. Terrible place, do not trust what they say, you will get screwed.
