I'd stayed here for five nights and absolutely enjoyed it…read more The Hilton London in Canary Wharf is located in the heart of the financial district of London, surrounded by unique artwork, lots of cafes, restaurants and walking distance to both Canary Wharf and Jubilee tubes (train station). The staff were very welcoming and accommodating as I had an early check in. The room was extremely spacious, comfortable bed, shower head was the best, a variety of coffee and tea selection to choose from in the room, and a mini refrigerator was so convenient. I stayed on the 11th floor facing the Citi building and I was also able to take in the beauty of the sunrise. Absolutely stunning! There was also a restaurant in the lobby and breakfast was included, but I did not participate this time around as I was occupied. I, however did enjoy the gym in the hotel and the WiFi was super fast especially in the evening hours as I had to log into work remotely. Overall! I'd highly recommend staying here if you'd like to be close to the canary wharf area.

We were greeted warmly by the staff, and found our room comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, but nothing special. It also took someone about 20 minutes and asking twice for any milk and sugar to be brought to our table, by then which our coffee was cold. From this hotel it is very easy to take public transport to all the major attractions in London, which we did, and we enjoyed being able to come back to quiet area after our trips out. There were plenty of restaurants and even a grocery store around the hotel as well. Over all I would stay here again if I find myself back in London.

When I arrived here, the staff said that they were committed that I would have an experience that was different from other anonymous hotels and that I would truly feel at home. I want to say that I left after being entirely spoiled including being provided with a fridge, documents scanned, and a private place to work with a great patio at no cost, the best hotel breakfast I had in England, and wonderful fish and chips, green curry and pizzas throughout the visit by Paul's team. Most importantly, I felt known there, having conversations with so many staff, including a mom and daughter bartender and server from the Ukraine, a new graduate of business school, and Michael, who kept sharing different English breakfast items I needed to try each day. A particularly enjoyable moment was discussing the show Sex and the City and which characters each of the staff and I were. I felt fully supported to ask my naive questions, was coached not to take the Tube during the heat wave and was helped to choose my fun activities. Try this gem of a hotel and tell them Amy sent you. Canary Wharf was also a beautiful place to be where I could easily get to many places throughout London and shop.

It was such a beautiful area with great food and great shopping. The Canary Wharf area is relatively close to other areas you may be going to in London, which made it convenient for meeting up with my family who are also in the London area, or going to explore the city as well. Well, the service was spectacular. The front desk assistants were very mindful and, willing to assist with just about anything you may have had questions about from getting you a taxi to making suggestions on where to eat or even just checking to make sure you were enjoying your stay. I enjoyed my time at this hotel, and I can't wait to come back again. I only thing that made me give them a 4-star rating is, it the entrance to the hotel is odd, and there's no clear signage so if you or your uber haven't been to the area when you are first arriving it, is hard to find. The hotel is located in the middle of a plaza/residential building and there's no clear parking to drop off zone for patrons. You're left dragging heavy bags from the street corner all the way across to the entrance. But overall the hotel was very clean, modern and comfortable.

I like the room, it had a great view of London and the river nearby. The bed was comfortable and I really like the water pressure in the shower. The room also have the standard US power plug here. I visit the Clipper Bar that is here to get a soda and also the Market Brasserie which is where they serve breakfast. I like that this hotel has a special route to go to the O2 arena which was where I was working. The only issue I had here was trying to get ice. There no ice machine in the hotel and I went to ask the worker at the check in desk. They said someone from room service will bring it up to me.

This property is just a few steps from the O2, a ginormous Arena with shops, activity centers and restaurants and is within walking distance in a town called Greenwich where you will find pubs, a small market and tons of amazing parks to just relax and chill. This is also where the famous GMT clock is located (in Greenwich Park), just be prepared to make the hike, where you will find some awesome views! In any event I'm here to rate the amazing service we receive here. We didn't have access to a fridge and didn't have phone service in the room, but we didn't mind as other amenities and service in the room sort of canceled all of the negatives. It was humid this time of year in June and we walked a lot. The shower water pressure is so powerful here nothing else matters to me at this point. They offer 2 restaurants. Hubby and I shared a lunch meal at the Meridian restaurant. The service was on point and the food was a delight. We also had dinner at the Market Brasserie in the second floor after a few days of drooling on their grilled squid and it certainly didn't disappoint! Later, we spent time at their upscale bar the Clipper, sipped some custom cocktail and wine while enjoying the beautiful views this property has to offer. Hubby and I logged some serious steps this trip but didn't miss a day of circuit training (weights + Machines) first thing in the AM in their fully equipped and spacious gym. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the spa service. Finally, I want to give praise to the amazing staff here - from concierge, front desk, restaurant staff and Attila, the Night Manager who was more than accommodating, especially at the end of our trip when I thought I lost my iPhone (was a major heart attack moment for me!) and made sure we had an epic stay for our first trip to London.

The place is close to many ethnic restaurants in the area as well as a convenient store. It's also about 15 minutes walking distance from the DLR train station. Staff was nice and friendly, and our booking included breakfast, which was served from 7:30a to 9:30a. Beware that this is a college dorm style room where you have to share bathrooms and showers, so bring some flip flop or shower slippers with you. They provide shampoo and soup in a dispenser, but they both have the same color, which made me thought they must be shower gel and not shampoo for your hair at all. I brought my own shampoo and conditioner, so it wasn't an issue for me. There was a small fridge in our room stocked with drinks that you could purchase. A coffee maker was provided with complimentary tea and coffee as well as 2 bottles of water. There was a hairdryer, which I was glad because the travel size that I brought was crap. Reason for the 3 stars: minus one for not having any lift/elevator to our room, which is located on the 3rd floor. We each have a 30 something pounds luggage, so dragging them up those stairs was quite a task. Minus one more star for the heating system in our room. The two of us shared a double bed in a small room that did not have a closet. It was already hot when we got in. We tried turning down the furnace that was placed next to the window but to no avail. The only good thing was we were in a corner room, so we were able to prop our door open to let some cool air in. Personally, I probably would not stay here again because I am spoiled and prefer establishment with an elevator so I don't have to break a sweat with dragging my luggage up and down the place. However, if you don't mind not having a lift/elevator or want to relive your college days of sharing bathrooms with strangers, then Docklands Lodge may be an option.
