Ms. Ashanti came to our rescue after our family had been sheltering in place for 6 months and both of my young daughters had been out of school and living with two parents who worked full time from home. Our kids were not getting the social or academic attention they so greatly needed.
We interviewed many candidates and Ms. Ashanti stood out from the first time we spoke. She was the only early childhood educator we met with who asked what time my girls went to bed and got up in the morning - this stood out to us so much, as she really wanted to get the whole picture of our routines and needs. It was also very important to Ms. Ashanti that we all worked together, as a team, to be the best parents/caregivers we could be for the girls.
Once Ms. Ashanti started working with our family, my youngest daughter, who was three years old at the time, was quite a handful. Ms. Ashanti was always kind and patient, with a great sense of humor, and brought routine and structure to our days. Ms. Ashanti is always prepared with fun and engaging activities and she really works in the moment to read the moods and needs of our daughters.
Another very important part of our working with Ms. Ashanti is that we are very careful and cautious of COVID 19 and Ms. Ashanti is on the same page. Together we work to be safe and teach our kids to be safe and healthy, too.
We started to work with Ms. Ashanti during a very difficult and trying time and we couldn't be happier with how she has become a part of our family.
For parents who need to depend on someone to care for their children for a significant amount of time during the week, it is so important to choose a caregiver that is bright, kind, and caring. We would highly recommend Ms. Ashanti to anyone seeking quality childcare! read more
