I arrived with my girlfriend in a lot I've passed hundreds of times probably, and been in onl a few. And this was the forst time that ai even knew this swim center even existed; tucked away in the back right corner next to Baguettes bakery. Once we entered once of the staff asked for our names which I wasn't sure why at first, but then later realized it was for some registration. We told them we were going to be swimming but we had to fill out a registration form anyways. Maybe it was for insurance purposes, but I was told there was a max number of people who could be there which I thought was off, that guests could/would be capped. Or maybe there was more charges for larger groups, which is weird since you have the pool scheduled for your party, so size should matter. The pool consisted of 4 lanes if I remember correctly, with a length of maybe 25 meters and a depth a 5 ft max. There is a nice gazebo type area to the far back where full shade is provided, and have a number of picnic tables to sit out. And on the side of the pool, opposite of the staff area, there were several more table with large umbrellas to sit under out of the sun. Our party was from 1-4 and was also told we had to be out by 4:15 otherwise there would be additional charger. So we had to help packed up a little early and rush to get all of our stuff out before 4:15, so that additional charge wasn't incurred. Overall: The kids definitely had fun whoch was a plus, but the logistics to rent the place could be a lot better in my opinion. Minus some of those additional charges and rush to be in and out of this facility.

Was about to leave when another parent arrived and they said it was unusual for them to have a Sunday class but he was given that date as well. No one showed and before then my wife had made multiple attempts to call during the week to make sure they would be open for Easter and no one ever answered her calls. Pretty lousy planning and customer care. Will be asking for a refund and finding a new swimming class.

In order to assess his level of interest, I downloaded the trial version of an iPhone game/app called Code Spark Academy. This app allows the user to create the intricate details (levels, rewards, etc.) of a game and then play the game. During this time I noticed that his traditional games and even television shows were put on the backburner. While driving through Elk Grove I noticed a new (at least new to me) establishment called Code Ninjas. I immediately found their website and saw that they offered a coding camp based on the popular platform Roblox. Thankfully, the class was being offered on a day that fell within my son's holiday break. Before registering my son for the class, I ran it by him and he enthusiastically said "YES!" After submitting the payment information, I received a welcome packet from Code Ninjas (outlining the facility rules) that I quickly completed and submitted. The morning of the camp I packed a lunch for my son (Code Ninjas does not provide lunch), and we hit the road! After being warmly greeted by the employee at the front desk, I signed in my son, kissed him, and sent him off to explore the world of coding! When I arrived to pick him up, he did not want to leave. Aside from putting the finishing touches on the game that he created for Roblox, he was "networking" with his fellow coding camp buddies. During our ride home, he could not stop talking about the coding camp. He explained to me in detail the game that he created and that his game was saved so that he could resume the modification of the game upon a return visit. I highly recommend Code Ninjas for any parent that has a child that expresses interest in coding. Yes it is a bit pricey ($89 for the coding camp), but it will definitely pay off (literally) in your child's future! I am already planning on registering my son for the Minecraft Coding Workshop. Thank you Code Ninjas!

I wish there were more places to take the kids that teach them fun, hands on, real world skills. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this if you are a parent that has a child always wanting to play video games/Fortnite and can't pull them away from the screen! This will definitely make them appreciate all that goes into developing a game. I can't speak much to this part, but it even looks like they have a camp that teaches how to code drones that they can fly around.

Parking is readily available. It's easy to register your child online and they accept payment plans if needed. They're well organized and do a great job overall communicating with the children and parents. You'll need to download the Band app which many other theater companies utilize as well to communicate reminders. Our little one has had pleasant experiences and made new friends. It's built her confidence and she thoroughly enjoys performing. Tickets are reasonably priced and we're looking forward to seeing her in their upcoming Willy Wonka production. It's a great way for children in the Elk Grove area to participate in children's theater. Performances are currently held downtown, but everything is well spelled out beforehand. They're also great at answering questions in a timely manner. They offer a variety of shows, so don't fret if the first one you see isn't up your child's alley.

The staff is very knowledgeable on techniques and fun activities to keep everyone engaged. Upon entering you are required to take off your shoes because it helps keep the place cleaner and safer for everyone. My partner's sister planned out an amazing and super cute birthday party for her adorable child! She went all out on the decorations and food! The staff was very friendly and helped with everything from the set up and activities to clean up. When we had about 30 minutes left they also reminded us that everyone will have to leave right when the session is over or a few minutes before because they probably need to do a deep clean for another reservation. The booking lasted between 2 to 2.5 hours and it was just the right amount of time for kids to play around and for everyone to enjoy the food! I liked how there was an accessible sink and plenty of trash cans and paper towels available for messes. There are also clean bathrooms with slippers available right inside of the gymnasium. We all had a great experience here!

The…read morestaff suggested him to be in the beast class, which was for 19months-30months instead of the 11:30am birds class for 10-19months. I mainly chose the classes based on the time because my little one's nap time is still unpredictable, but the staff was very accommodating. I was allowed to enroll in the later one and show up to the earlier class if the timing works. Being from out of town, the timing and schedule doesn't always work. I had to cancel before due to illness. I appreciate how accommodating the owner and staff were, especially of the unpredictability of toddlers. Anywhere with a bunch of toddlers is always chaotic and the environment felt safe. There was an agenda, but if the little bosses wanted to do their own thing, they were allowed. It was my toddler's first time in a gym exposed to so many kids of his own age. He was more engaging with the equipment than the other kids, but still had a lot of fun. If I'm in town for longer durations, I would definitely sign up again!

Upon arrival, it was a nice welcome to see that for birthday parties, the entire location is secured just for that one party and not others like it can be with other venues. Everyone was welcomed and the staff were attentive to the children and parents. The location has seating as well near the entrance that is separate from the play area, so parents/grandparents are not in the way :) The location isn't "huge" but seemed to have plenty of structures for the kids to play on. My initial reaction was that there wasn't much especially considering that after a child uses say a trampoline, they may get bored shortly after. However, what I didn't see right away is they have a back room FILLED with different toys and activities. During the party, there was face painting, they played modern music and dance, they incorporated dodge ball between parents and children, there was a zip line, and frequent stops to bring up a new challenge or activity for the kids. There was even a moment where the lights went down, and a laser light show was on with some pop music. Overall, I can see why kids really enjoy this place and my daughter had a really great time being entertained by the staff. This is a great venue if you have smaller children and enjoy a location where you don't need to frequently monitor if your children haven't run away or get out of view, this is a solid option.

I will admit our first class I was still skeptical and a little upset thinking this isn't for her. Could have been because I signed her up for an age range that met her age (2 years) all the way up to 9 years, Mighty Mixers. Gymsters class might've been a more suitable one to start her off with first. It's been 2 months since we've been attending classes and my daughter absolutely LOVES coming here. It's great social interaction for my toddler and it's amazing to see how much more strength and skills she's obtained in a short amount of time. I appreciate the ability to easily switch up your class time, mark absent, and schedule make ups all online. The staff we've encountered so far are all fantastic! They really hone in to each child's personality and skills while still maintaining a way to be fun. And they're so approachable, especially to the shy kiddos. My daughter actually shouts "YAY" when I say we've arrived to My Gym. Talk about having an impact! Can't wait to see where we are with her skills in another few months.
