My…read more6-year-old daughter had been looking for a heart-shaped locket after losing one from her grandparents. She finally found what she was looking for at Take Heart! She immediately went to the counter so we could purchase it. The women there were so kind with her, asking about her purchase and her name. They were so touched by her story that they decided to gift it to her for Christmas! We were shocked! We were in the store for a brief amount of time, but that visit will leave a long-lasting impression on her and us. Thank you to "the purple shop" for creating such a wonderful Christmas memory for our family!

The scents, the positive and uplifting music playing over the speakers, the friendly welcome from the staff, and all the beautiful items in the store, feel like home to me. The owner Sherri is the icing on the cake, her smile is pure comfort. She is always happy to help me pick out something special. Her Joy is contagious, and sincere. There are so many beautiful items in the store. Each time I go I find a little gift for a friend, a family member, and usually one for myself, and I leave with a smile on my face. I mentioned how difficult it was to find a breakfast place that did not have a wait on the weekends. A lovely couple next to us introduced themselves as they were leaving the restaurant as Bill and Susan and recommended we visit the Third Day Market kitchen and bakery on Saturday morning. They spoke so highly of the place we asked if they owned it and they replied no, but that they were lucky enough to work there. We decided to follow thier advice and had breakfast. We enjoyed three different breakfast bowls and one of us chose an early lunch of turkey and avocado sandwich with the soup of the day, roasted red pepper. All meals were delicious and the service was lovely; from the girls behind the counter to our new friend Bill who was in the kitchen and brought us our order when we sat outside. The market outside of town is under some improvements that we can't wait to see when completed, and our visit was so nice we returned that afternoon to have ice cream that is brought down from the Amish in PA. The whole experience was quaint, delicious, and super friendly. We can't wait to go back!
