This is a neat place to stop at. This was our first time here. They have a little of everything from peanuts, jars of jams and pickles, homemade bird houses. There was a lot to look at and prices were not too bad being a tourist spot. If someone is on vacation this would be the place to stop at! There is so many items that they could bring home. No one acknowledged us being there, they had a few customers at the counter and a few walking around. If you have to use a restroom they do offer a outhouse, and it was clean to use. We didn't personally see anything we had to buy since we stop at some others in the area when we take a ride. We will for sure stop by again especially if we need any jar items or cider. They did just get some apples in as well they looked good. read more

Being from out of town, I always try to soak up some of the local flavor. This place is Awesome! Locally made bird houses and furniture, locally grown peaches, (you must have Carolina peaches when you come to the Carolinas) apples, and other produce, to my favorite! wild mountain honey! Try the blackberry honey, fantastic! Apple pies, ham hocks, and unbelievable hot sauces and salsas. So much good stuff you couldn't possibly list them all. I guess I want be stopping by any more. I used to really like this place. But the last three times I stopped I didn't get what I paid for. The first time I bought a bag of ginger gold, but I got a mixed bag of ginger golds with others that looked a lot like ginger golds, but don't taste the same. The second time I bought a bag of ginger gold and when I got home I found five in the bottom that were rotten. The third time i bought another bag that was labeled ginger gold and i told the man about the rotten ones that got before and he just made a joke about it. And the last bag i got i have tried five and haven't found a ginger gold yet. So i don't think I will be stopping by any more read more

Every time i go to north carolina i try to make it up here so i can take back home butter, bacon and honey. Totally worth it this time i checked in a luggage on the plane with tons of jams and honey to take back home. I was very sad they had sold out of butter. Hopefully next time i fly that way i can get butter. read more
