Its now 2025 and all the eye specialists I have seen keep telling me the damage you caused to the corners of my eyes cant be repaired without reducing the visibilty of my eyes... Meaning cutting into the corners to regain the natural almond shape cant be done without it closing the upper and lower. When Dr. Rau told me that a tummy tuck would change my life, I thought wouldn't that be amazing! He was right, the overhanging belly tgat has plagued me since 3 births two of which were C Sections is finally gone! After several consultations with other plastic surgeons I chose Doctor Rau because I was driving down the freeway from my grandson's baseball game and I happen to look over and see a billboard with Dr Rau's smiling at me and took it as a sign that it was meant to be. I had a neck lift with fat transfer to the marrionate lines but instead the fat transferred was made to the bottom of my cheeks because apparently he did not know what he was doing. The placement of the fat has caused scar bands, permanent nerve damage, and damage to the fascia as well. My neck is also uneven. He repeatedly lied about the "bumps" (which he called) not being the fat he had transferred. But then he would suggest to get cool sculpting and lipo in that area and for me to lose weight. He injected hylenex and kenalog to try to correct the problem which only made it worse. I now have to have two surgeries to correct this problem which is costing thousands of dollars and not to mention the permanent damage to the area and scarring he caused. Thank you Dr Rau but no amount of exercise would have prevented the damage you caused but I appreciate your recommendations. (FYI exercise does not correct botched surgeries) read more

I would not recommend Dr. Rau. He did an upper eyelid lift on me and left me with a scar that continues to reopen even after almost two years. He made my scar really high. I have had issues causing breathing, sinus, and migraine problems for years,. Not to mention but the migraines are weekly and painful. The left side of my nose was tilted inward and I couldn't breathe right, and could always hear a crack when I'd put my fingers dow. This is when I decided to have it fixed I thought I might as well make it look esthetically good too. I went to Dr Raur because he is specialized in all surgery especially plastic surgery which is why I got my rhinoplasty with him. I went to a a surgeon in Riverside who has been in the buissness for 36 year he says there was more that could have been done.
