She was able to get me in the following Wednesday. The practice is made of 2 brothers. I saw Amir. Dr. Amir did a thorough examination. He spent well into an hour along with his assistant to explain to me my choices. He answered every question. I've been under the care of these brothers going on a decade. My husband is also a patient. If you need dental care look no further. Their practice covers the usual dental care along with Invisiline, Veneer and beyond. They and their lab together, time after time, create dental restorations that give way to the "aha!" moment. I usually see Tammy the hygienist for my cleanings. I returned only to be told that Amir Koopah no longer wanted to do my procedure. So unprofessional and unethical to not allow for the patient to attain a second opinion. He is basically implying that since you left for a second opinion, I do not wish to help you. He has a God complex and it's unfortunate that these shady characters are left in charge of our health. The office arranged for me to be seen promptly and the dentist was thorough, clear, and honest about what she was seeing on the X ray. She did not oversell treatment. She explained the findings, ruled out infection, and made an appropriate referral to an endodontist. I appreciated the calm approach and clear communication during a stressful situation. If you need a dentist in Orinda who is responsive and professional, this office is a solid choice.

Stay away from this practice…read more I waited over a month for a procedure and at the last minute I received a note from the Dr. Dhillon that he did not have the expertise to complete it but I suspect it has more to do with the office's attempt to change the fees. When I initially went in the office provided me with a patient responsiblity amount. Then, a few days before the procedure, the office told me I would need to pay a higher amount. When I questioned the change, I never received an explanation and instead got an email from Dr. Dhillon that he is not capable of performing the procedure.

When I went in complaining of toothache recently, he examined my teeth and ran a series of diagnostic tests (hot/cold, tapping, and x-rays) to determine just exactly what I needed, and in the end he referred me to an endodontist because that is what I needed.
