The neighbor had this company called D & D Tree Service cut down a good size ash tree in their…read morefront yard and they didn't have a boom truck to lower the upper branches. Instead, they used a hi-jacker type unit so they were just dropping large branches at random and ended up damaging our crab tree and dwarf willow tree in our front yard. We had gone out and told them to be careful after we saw them drop a branch on the willow but they went on to damage our beautiful flowering crab apple tree, snapping off a main upper branch and stripping off many smaller leaf containing branches. Without our consent they trimmed off the damaged section and now the top has a large bare space and the one side looks sparse with many of the leaf branches missing. One of the owners said he would send a tree expert consultant out to look at the tree. No one called or came over after us calling him back twice. He said he would come by last weekend with a contract to replace the tree. Surprise, surprise no one called or came over. They also left a good sized mess in our landscaping and front yard for us to clean up. Run don`t walk away from these guys.

A couple of weeks later I was presented with a full-color mitigation plan to repair the erosion damage and install landscaping features and native deep-rooting plants to slow the water drainage and retain the soil.
