For the majority of the time building our addition, Phil and his crew were very friendly and accommodating with helping my wife and I build our 'Master' addition. Towards the end of the construction we were informed we were over budget, and there was suddenly a rush to complete the job (Throughout the job every worker was stressed and strung out between several other jobs). Now that we've lived in the addition for a couple years, we're discovering how many other corners were cut without our knowledge - improper framing (other contractors have been unable to reliably find studs at expected locations), faulty wiring (A light in the bedroom flickers every time we turn the separated ceiling fan on), along with not testing the ethernet cabling run to the office before walling it in - leaving us with useless ethernet ports in our office space, and I'm sure more to come. Either have the time to watch this contractor work, do the work yourself, or have extra money set aside to fix anything that Phil feels he's done for you as a favor, instead of being a professional and doing what he's been paid to do. read more
