Let me just say - the other service came out TWICE and did nothing but lay bait stations. I asked if they would search for and seal up holes to stop the mice for getting in and out and they told me they didn't find any holes. Ok. After having them come out twice and still not seeing any results, over a period of 5 months - I came across this place. A nice and very knowledgeable man by the name of Kevin came out to inspect my house. He then spent the next hour and a half THOROUGHLY searching and sealing possible entries and exits for critters. He educated me and my husband on what to look out for, and asked questions so he could understand exactly how the mice were traveling in our home. That was in January. It is now the end of April and we haven't seen any mice or evidence of them since! I am finally able to move freely in my house again without worrying about those nasty pests running across my path. I'm glad to have found them!

They always are mindful about any pets and give great instructions on how to handle them (even though we always have our dog in doggy daycare for pest control application days, just to be safe!) Overall Very responsive and had great communication throughout the whole process. I really appreciate all the options of application frequency with different costs and we get to chose what works best for us. We were really happy with the cost and value we get from it. As far as results, also can't say enough nice things. The little bugs that were bothering us are nowhere to be seen.

The guy who seems as far as I can tell to be the only employee, said he wasn't sure he was allowed to discuss that with me and had to have his manager call me. It was a huge red flag because all pest control people who are licensed should know that they are required by law to not only tell you what chemicals they use, but show you the labels of their chemicals as well as their license number before providing a service. I told him there was no way I was going to let him spray in my house.

My daughter was hearing some critters scurrying around in the ceiling of her upstairs rooms. She…read moresays it was mostly in the morning. I was trying to help her find an exterminator to help. I decided to look on Yelp, because they have helped me find contractors before. I chose Pest Medics because they responded within a hour. They also (responding through text) told me their range of pricing and could come out the next day. I'm assuming Javan is the owner of the company. Him and another worker came within their window of time. They were very cordial to us as they entered. They listened to my daughter explain the issues she was having. They walked through the house (inside and out) inspecting where the critters could be coming in and out of. They finally found one of the entry points near the roof. They explained about the one way gate like thing they put up to let (we think it was squirrels) out, but could not get back in. My daughter was impressed that there was not cruelty to the animals. She just wanted them out of her house. All in all, it took the a total of 45 minutes to complete the job. Not mentioning the price, they charged the top of the range they gave her. There was no paperwork to show what was done. Just a receipt for the job (on her phone) and a 30 day verbal guarantee for the work they had done. This is were the stars started coming off!! About a week had passed and my daughter was still hearing squirrels in the roof. She called Javan and company to come back out because the problem was still there. They made a appointment to come back two days later with a no show and no call. My daughter call them within a half hour left within that window of time they were suppose to have come out. Javan telling her he got tied up with another job and could they reschedule. He knew he was tied up before that phone call. It is to easy to text or call someone. That is so rude, to waste someone's time....looking for you to come. They did reschedule though. The same thing happened again, only this time he called her when there was only a half hour left with in his scheduled window, saying he needed to reschedule. At this point we felt he had her money, so she goes on the back burner. After a few harsh words, he followed up and showed up soon after. They reinspected her property, sealed in some additional entery points. Later, came back to get their cage and seal in the entry points in the roof. Seems like the problem is solved. I don't like giving bad reviews, but they wasted her time twice. They didn't do a bad job, just be warned if you decided to go with Pest Medics.

We are very happy with Gary's crew's work on this project, as well as the previous project. We purchase our 95 year old Sears Kit home 3 years ago. At the time, based on home inspection, we contacted Modern on a recommendation from our long term real estate agent. We were not disappointed as they kept their appointment, were knowledgeable, and found some structural damage cause by previous termite activity but also confirmed that termites were no longer present, to our relief. We were able to negotiate a several thousand dollar reduction in home price because of this. At the time we chose to use that money for the house repairs supporting the main beam of the house and all the wooden supports that held it, as well as adding some steel columns. We waited until now to do the wood frame garage structural repairs and that new job is the catalyst for this review. I am moved by the quality of their work and their professionalism, craftsmanship and thoroughness to write this review! We know Modern does an excellent job when repairing structural damage, very thorough and always goes the extra mile to make us happy. This is the second time we used Modern's first rate structural services, and it exceeds our first experience with them which was great. You cannot go wrong using them, they do structural work every day of the week as opposed to other carpenters who while good, do a little of everything. They've made us wait a week to "see if we see more live bugs"... like we're paying you for me to investigate, and then report back to you?!?! What?!?! We've literally been seeing/killing live bugs daily. Which I explained nice and calmly to the guy the 1st person teansferred me to... even though I ask her, then him to speak wait a manager to get someone out today (I'm hosting tomorrow and this guys could care less if my guests saw live bugs in my home...), then he proceeded to challenge me and clarify that I'm in fact seeing LIVE BUGS, then call a specific bug by it scientific name... to not only insult me, but also to apply his "superior knowledge" over me! So no, even though we AGAIN did what they asked, they also WILL NOT RETURN to spray their interior (due to some strange "health hazard/legal... blah blah)"! Being yelled at by someone who interrupted me speaking multiple times to "ma'am let me explain what I've ALREADY explained to your husband...!" Terrible service... I asked to have a manager immediately call me this morning, declined... he's not in until 1pm today... and again I wad again denied service today. Stay away from this company! I requested to be let out of our contract so that I could actually secure another company with far superior service and better internal ops. DO NOT CONTRACT THIS COMPANY. This is exhibit #329 why simple hard working homeowners choose to secure "big box" and "big companies" to get big nasty jobs done and completely executed. He was friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable about our yellow jacket issue.
