I went in to Hair Gallery a couple of days before Christmas to buy a gift certificate for a…read moremanicure / pedicure as a gift for my wife. When I walked in I could only see a few customers so I waited at the counter about five minutes when someone finally came over to ask me what I needed, she seemed like I was a bother rather than a customer trying to spend money at their place of business. I told her I wanted a gift certificate and another employee in another room shouted which girl does your wife use, I told them I didn't know but anyone would be fine. I was then asked if I had cash so I let them know I didn't have enough on me to purchase the certificate but I had my credit card. The lady in the other room said loudly that if I couldn't provide them with any of the girls name that she would only take cash from me and she was sorry. I informed her I purchased the same thing the previous Christmas and had no trouble. Again she refused to take my credit card and said if I can't tell her a girls name that works there she will take nothing but cash from me. It was quite embarrassing to be treated this way in front of other customers. I left and went to the new Titus Nail and Spa where I was greeted with a friendly smile and they actually wanted and appreciated my business. Bottom line if your a guy just trying to get your wife or girlfriend a simple gift certificate I would highly recommend you steer clear of the Hair Gallery unless you just happen to know the name of an employee that works there. If you don't be prepared to be treated like your an inconvenience and a common criminal.
