I called once to ask them if it was open today and they didn't reply and all they did was hang up on me.. and so I called again to check if they would open because it's a national holiday, I called to ask one question and he said "TODAY IS A NATIONAL HOLIDAY ITS TURKEY DAY! I've been rocking a middle part for several years and decided it's time for a change...SIDE BANGS! I drove around and past by what appears to be a very hipster/modern salon. I was hoping their nice interior reflected their skills, plus I just needed a simple fringe cut..can't eff that up too bad. WRONG! I was assigned to a guy who first of all, had all his nails trimmed except the pinky finger. Uhh, that's disgusting, we all know what he uses that pink for. I was very particular on how I wanted my side bangs to look. I took him every little detail--length, thickness, position..everything. This SOB manages to eff it up and I left the salon with freaken barbie bangs. I even had to point out hairs that were'nt cut properly and ugh, terrible. Don't go there. Period. read more

This is the first time here. It's hard to say.... what do you think I have to spend 4 hours 30min for cut and dye my hairs with 2 time put the color on my hairs. And you know what's going on with my head....:(.Finally, this is not the color i want, I felt so bad. My appointment at 1:30, I came early 20 min and waited almost 40min, but I didn't blame that, b/c they was so busy.:(.I was expect I would have a perfect hairs, b/c I trust the owner. They have high view and good comments but I don't know what happened with them today.. After the ladies straight my hair, she sprayed something, I don't know what the hell is that... and then it kept my hairs stick together, i cant cobm either. OMG, so temrible. They're all great but anh Tuong is the best. He gives you exactly what you want and he's super fast. Oh did I mention he's also super nice? I bring my boyfriend here to cut his hair all the time and Tan always do such an excellent job. My boyfriend usually doesn't care about his hair but one trip there and now he refuses to go anywhere else. The shop is spacious, clean and the employees are always friendly. Just one tiny problem: please change or do something about the senior gentleman who picks up the phone. I came from Vietnam so I speak fluently Vietnamese but I find it really hard to communicate with him since he can't hear well. This review is for Ken (Phuoc is his Vietnamese name I believe). My husband is a picky guy when it comes to his hair stylist and he had a same hair stylist for almost 5 years before I took him to TOC. Ken is very friendly and paying attention to details when we tell him what we really want. He takes time, like a lot of time on my husband. The cut always comes out perfect. My husband is now a regular and loves his hair cut. We always show up unannounced and he always find time for us. Highly recommend this place, especially Ken. read more

This place is full of s***. Unless you're doing expensive work they will treat you like 2nd rate citizen. Ive been here 3 times, all with appointments, but all 3 times I had to wait for almost 45 min to 1 hour. The owner of this place is a straight up liar. She will tell you she's in LA picking up supplies or stuck in traffic if she doesn't want to follow through with the appointment. All the 5 stars rating are their friends. I am so happy and feel lucky that I met Anh Tuong and Co Son. They are so sweet and extremely helpful. Anh Tuong did my hair and makeup for my pre-wedding photo-shoot and wedding day. He also helped me to select color to dye my hair. Everything turned out so wonderful. I got lots of compliments on my hair and makeup. I used to live Texas. I had move to CA couple months ago and so scare to go get hair cut. " don't know where to go and who i trust to cut my hair"" The nightmare is GONE!!!!!!!!! one day i drove on westminster street and i saw the hair grand open and just want to get in to cut. And I had following one guy to cut and he was ask me what style, how short. I told me don;t know just cut if fix with my face and my height, HAHA.. Nervous and worry same time. SO hour and hours was pass by my hair came out SO BEUTIFUL; HOANG always takes his time dealing with my (aforementioned difficult and thick) hair. He washes, cuts, and completely blow dries my hair section by section. Plus, he remembers me by name as well as my friends that I have referred to him. He's earned a loyal customer.
