The haircut technique is quite mediocre and not what I wanted at all. (Even I showed him the picture)Also, the price is not cheap. U need to ask clearly and understand everything before making a decision. The place isn't very clean, and it feels quite hot inside. No! I don't recommend this place! read more

I came here back in November 2024 to get feathering hair extensions. When it was first done it was beautiful even though the color wasn't really what I wanted. I was there for 12 hours. The staff was extremely kind and funny. However the extensions themselves didn't hold, in 2 weeks I lost a few and within a month 1/3 of them were off. I noticed the way it was tied was very fast and sloppy. When I get this done in Vietnam it lasts forever, but this time it comes off when I brush it. I have to brush it because of the tangles around my roots where it was tied, but sometimes itll pull off the extension or break my hair. I never had this happen to me before. And to think I paid about 1.4k to get this done. I'm extremely disappointed. I traveled from Arizona just to get it done. Waste of money. read more

*PRO TIP: DON'T CONSIDER THIS ESTABLISHMENT IF YOU ARE HOPING TO FIND EXPERIENCED/PROFESSIONAL STYLISTS. YOUR HAIR WILL COME OUT BRITTLE n RUINED not the color you want* - Major Dissapointment / Not reccomended Writing negative reviews on Yelp is something I try and avoid doing. Although it brings me no joy, something just has to be said for the damage they've done to my mother's hair! She checked in at 11:00am and was released from the salon at 8:00pm. It was her first time coming here after searching for a new hairstylist, she wanted to change the color of her hair to a medium-light blonde/brown but once washed and dried she got a bright eyesoaring yellow. Since the color was outrageous they decided to give it another try and toned it down "one" shade darker..resetting the process all over again only to completely darken it leaving little to no blonde at all? Tuan is now on his 3rd attempt of burning and destroying my moms hair... trying to "brighten" it a lighter tone. My mom sat through the 3rd round feeling her Scalp burning and stinging.. signaling her to GTFO. The shop owner knew she was unsatisfied with the results but still charged her at full price, claiming it was mom's fault because her hair was previously discolored. A warning in the beginning would have been appropiate if you are the owner running this shop, a bright idea: allowing your customers to understand what type of hair damage they already have before putting your hands on their hair to avoid any "accusations" would help. read more

I called an appointment and ask them to cut my hair they recommend me to Tuong I told him what style to cut for my hair. He asked me what I want. I didn't know so I'll let him choose for me. He did a wonderful job. Recommend coming back now. Now I find my hairstylist finally thank you so much. read more

I love this salon, the atmosphere is very relaxing and unique. everyone was very friendly. I came into the salon feeling a little sad because my hair hadn't been cut for some time. I showed Binh my stylist a picture of what I wanted and he did exactly what I showed him, he even styled it the same I left feeling so happy with my new modern fresh looking hair ‍ I highly recommend this salon and Binh to cut and style read more

I have to write this review because even two weeks later, my hair is fried and ruined less than a month before my wedding. The picture where I'm wearing the floral dress is what my hair looked like the night before I went to this awful salon and the other pictures is my hair after they fried it to a crisp. I came here with my aunt because she wanted to do something nice for me so I settled on a blow out. As I walk to the back room, a literal dog barked at me. Like what? First red flag. No type of covering put over my body. The girl started washing my hair and continuously sprays the water so it's getting on my face. I can look past that. She takes me back to her chair and blow dries my hair. The regular way. With no round brush. I asked for a blow out, which means they put products in my hair to help it look healthy and it gets blown out with a round brush and blow dryer with a diffuser, none of which happened. Since my hair is already dry, I was annoyed so I just asked for it to be curled. Can't mess that up right? Wrong. First she starts crimping my hair, of which I tell her to stop. Then she gets another guy and he curls my hair with a large flat iron. He completely burnt the ends of my hair and now they are dry and look fried. Even after coming home and going to my regular stylist to get a haircut and treatment, my hair looks like the last picture with the purple shirt. I am so upset and there's nothing I can do to fix my hair except for cutting it off. Avoid this place at all costs, unless you want them to ruin your hair. read more

Do yourself a favor: Don't come to this place. Owner doesn't care. He opens late and keep me waiting for hours because he took other customer who do more expensive haircuts so I left and he didn't even apologize nor said a word. The worst experience I ever had. read more

I was here couple days ago. I got a hair cut and dyed my hair, $120 + tip. He left me on the hair wash chair for a long time saying "your hair is dry and need treatment". He soaked my hair with condition (I'm not so sure what he put on) for half an hour. The real reason was he had another appointment waiting for hair cut. Overall nothing impressive, the hair cut was alright, the hair dye was ok, and customer service was fine. 3 stars for everything! read more

Came here to get a much needed mommy hair cut update. I was recommended to Anh Tan by my cousin. He washed my hair and proceeded with the process. Let me say I'm pretty picky and have paid $100 for a hair cut before. And he did an amazing job! He first trimmed/ cut a little bit of the hair wet. Then dried everything and start his magic with a dry cut. I absolutely love dry cuts. I've only had it done one lace before and I was in love with my hair then. Dry cuts gives me a better look of what it'll look like even after I get home and shower. I will definitely be coming back! It was $35 for a wash and cut, probably cheaper if you don't get a hair wash. This 5 star review is mainly for Anh Tan, nothing else. read more

Toc Salon - Thanks Anh Tan!! - Hair Stylists Near Me - Westminster, California

I went to this salon before and had a good experience with the owner of the salon. However, the second time I went turned out horrible. It was during the covid and they were able to see me that day. I showed them a picture of a highlighted look and got something totally different. I had virgin hair, never been flat ironed or colored. He bleached my hair a total of 3 times! He even bleached my roots! Why bleach my roots when the roots are supposed to be dark? I wanted dark roots with dark and light highlights. He just ended up bleaching the whole thing, it looked all blonde!!! I was scared and when I asked him is this what it's supposed to look like, he said "don't worry I'm going to curl it." I almost cried. I told him it looks nothing like the picture- it's supposed to be dark at the roots with blonde highlights mixed in with my dark hair. He completely ruined the quality of my hair. I had to chop off 4 inches & it's still dry. My man payed the money for it before asking if I liked it and now I have to deal with the consequences. Please talk to your hair stylist & make sure both of you are on the same page so you don't have to go through what I went through. And if you want to know the hairstylist I went to is 'Bryan Le', I think he also gave me not his real last name. read more

Worse haicut ever had the guy didn't know how how to cut hair properly leaving long hair sticking out in several places. He rushed to cut it quickly when mo one was waiting and no shampoo just quickly get my money to rush me out the door and don't care about my hair look or if I am ok. He quickly trim my eyebrows without asking and I was unexpectedly had time to stop him.it was a ripoff for such a bad haircut bad experience will not come back. read more

I am not going to name any names because my purpose is not to get anyone fired from their job. However I want to WARN anyone to go elsewhere if they want a bleach / dye job. About 50% of my hair has fallen out (see pictures) and now I have to go short. read more

I had waited 5hrs for a hair ... wrong colors . , another 30' to tone down and still wrong . Not recommended to this place

My friend recommended me to get bob hair cut with Tuong. I called to book appointment a day before. He told me to come the day after at 9am cause he said he will have another appointment at 10 am. He did not ask my name or my number for setting up appointment. I went there and waited for 15 mins. Nobody showed up at the salon. I called and nobody picked phone. What kind of business like this? They don't care about customers or that's how they do business? I'm doing business too and always be on time for all my customers. Will never come here again. I Wasted my 30 mins of driving to get to this salon. So disappointed read more

Horrible place, terrible service. They didn't even dye it the right color. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Well, my hair was long and healthy, and I just wanted to give it a little adjustment. I request for a minimal cut only, I showed him the desired length; it's about 2 inches. I was so tired after a long day, so my eyes were closed most of the time. That guy already told me that my hair is so long. Guess what, he cut about 7 inches of length, and they were not even when I got home. The cashier was kinda rude with the phone on her hand all the time. She didn't even say thank you when charging me $35+$10 tip for 10mns of haircut. It already happened; nothing I can do to bring my hair back. My whole family and friends hate the new hair. A huge lesson for me. Open my eyes all the time during a haircut, and pick a better salon. Just wanna send a message to that guy " Put your heart into whatever you are doing and listen to your customers". Thank you for a really bad haircut from this salon. read more

This is by far the best hair salon ever! The haircut they gave me was by far the best. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

AVOID for mani/pedi. Posted pictures. Terrible for nails! 2 hours and $37 my nail need to be redone. Uneven color, messed up top coat, peeling and paint in my cuticles. I originally wanted a French but they had to remove my entire coat twice because the line was so uneven. I ended up giving up and switching over to a single color. Even the single color was a fail. I showed her where my top coat was splitting and the splotchy areas and she just ignored me. Nail polish also did not remotely match the sample, must be super old color. She also charged me what she originally quoted me for a French. read more

Amazing. My friend recommended me here since I just moved from Texas. It was hard to find the perfect hair stylist that I've been using the same for the past two years. Surprisingly Bryan at Toc Salon cut was even better than my usual barber in Texas, and it was cheaper! I believe if you're a guy with the typical Vietnamese hair, you need to go here. He definitely knows how to shape the hair so it doesn't look like a mess a couple days afterwards and it a good price for me! Only 15 bucks + tip is not bad at all! I'll be coming back very often and recommending this place to everyone. read more

Shout out to my cousin for gifting me this spontaneously appointment for my birthday! This review is for Anh Tuong. He is the first person to ever bleach my hair, and the result color came out absolutely beautiful. I never colored my hair before, so getting an ash blonde ombre with tints of pink was a big step for me. I wasn't too familiar with how coloring worked either, but he explained to me and gave me options that would look good. Throughout those 4 hours, it was getting hot but he made sure the fan was blowing the entire time. To add, it is very clean and spacious here. Thank you, Anh! See you soon :] read more
