Hire this man. If the comments on Mr. Tobin's abilities by other reviewers on this site as well as other sites is not enough to convince you, let me tell you about this man's character: I was given a citation which put my license in jeopardy (and as a result, my ability to get to and from work, etc), and being new to the whole experience, I was understandably distraught at the time I called Mr. Tobin. My citation was given through a court in the middle of nowhere quite far from where this law office is located, and although Mr. Tobin did tell me right away that the location of the court would make his fees for my particular case much too great to afford, he offered to get me in touch with another lawyer who would be a better fit for my case. I appreciated the fact that Mr. Tobin did not seize any opportunity for business, but he went a step further. Hearing that it would not make sense to hire him, I was still distraught, but Mr. Tobin stayed on phone for no less than twenty-five minutes answering my questions and assuring me the likelihood of fighting the citation and getting the charges reduced. He covered every single question I could come up with both calmly and professionally - allowing me to finally reduce some of the anxiety that had built in my mind since receiving the citation. Not only that, when I called back because I had more questions the next day, Mr. Tobin picked up right away and spent another fifteen minutes helping me process the situation and helping me decide on which law office would be the best fit for my case. Even though I did not end up hiring Mr. Tobin due to those extenuating circumstances, had I been able to, I would have jumped at the chance. With nothing but a plea for help from someone who needed it, Mr. Tobin did not hesitate to help. So my case was so weird it took Mr. Tobin to his professional limits. The person that I threatened Mesa police brought out the whole circus of Characters. Not only one of them lied the person that was a witness played the I'm a victim card to. When the witness was interviewed by Mesa police. She was practically crying and did not want to testify. Mesa police promised everything would be OK and she signed the complaint. The body cam of the officer was admitted in court. The person I threatened came to court from Prescott AZ where he lived. Get it a hour and a half away. Mesa police is trying to make this bigger than what it is. So Mr. Tobin had to deal with him his friends and the witness. The witness was couched by the prosecutor and it failed. Mr. Tobin took her story apart and she played the drama card again. I was convicted on what I said. That was my fault that's why I'm writing this! Mr. Tobin helped my case a lot by getting me off anger management and they did not take my guns... so he told me we are going to have to go back and try to clean up your record.. I waited and when I thought it was time I gave him a call. Best thing I ever did. We went back to court and the supposedly victim that was over a hundred miles away was writing to the court to try to stop this. The court and Mr. Tobin both saw trough this and now my record is being cleaned up. The moral of this is don't say anything. let a professional lawyer take care of court proceedings. The Mesa police told me that I did not need a lawyer. I knew better! Mr. Tobin is a professional on these case's and I am so grateful and astonished on the results that it took all the stress off my back and life. I hired Tim Tobin back in February this year (2021) when I was arrested for a super extreme DUI in Paradise Valley. It was my first time ever getting in trouble with the law and I had no clue where to go. I scheduled a meeting with Tim in his office and we went over the documents and Tim got to work. A week or two went by and all of a sudden Tim had all of the police reports, the body cam footage, original citations, all amendments to the documents, statements, and toxicology results. He informed me of getting all of these documents and went over each one with me. When it came to court Tim let me know WAY in advance my court hearings and due to COVID Precautions I did not have to attend most of my court appearances and he always called to inform me of the results of those hearings same day. (no jail time) Attend alcohol counselling, and $1350 in fines and fees. That was it, I was expecting far worse. Another piece of incredibly valuable information with Tim and his firm, is his experience in the field he knew what the court was going to require of me and had me get them done WAY in advance so by the time I got to court I completed everything that was intended to be completed when the plea agreement was signed.
