I can't thank Chris enough for the incredible support during my protective order case. This was one of the most difficult times in my life--I felt exposed, scared, and even ashamed to be in the position of a victim. But from start to finish, he made me feel supported, heard, and respected. Chris was so patient, always taking the time to explain everything multiple times and ensure I fully understood the process. When it came time to take the stand, he guided me on what to focus on and helped me feel more confident in such a vulnerable moment. What really stood out was the professionalism and kindness e showed, not just to me, but even to the opposing party--who unfortunately didn't show the same respect in return. That really showed the strength of his character and made me proud to have him represent me. His closing statement was so powerful and destroyed the opposing party whole argument in few minutes. He knew that to focus on. Because of Chris's guidance and expertise, I had a positive outcome. I truly don't know how I would've gotten through this without him. His team was equally amazing. They were very organized , and responded in timely manner. Highly recommend I can't thank Chris enough for the incredible support during my protective order case. Chris Doran by far is the best criminal defense attorney in the state. He hands down knows case law, and the actual law we live by, more in depth than any lawyer I've encountered - and I know a few. His verbiage in motions to the court, his demeanor, and assertiveness with the knowledge he possesses in the courtroom are bar none. In my case alone I watched him go head-to-head with several attorneys on the prosecution side and educated them all on the real law they were trying to manipulate, which ultimately ended in a full dismissal with prejudice. In this case I was charged with almost a dozen class two felonies for standing my ground and sticking up for my God-given rights as an American citizen against three different swat teams from three different cities. As my life was turned upside down sitting in jail losing my house, my business, and my reputation, Chris was there from the moment I told the police to call him. As the case went on and evidence was conveniently lost or destroyed, light began to shine more suspicious activity in the part of the Police Department and the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, who were trying to cover their behinds on the wrongdoing of multiple police officers and drag out everything they were court ordered to do for months on end. Chris and Morgan worked around the clock (literally!!) and were on their game and on to the corrupt BS that was going on within the police department and the MCAO. Chris is a Rottweiler in the courtroom and is intimidated by no one and seems to love when people try to manipulate case law in their favor because he knows it all like the back of his hand and has no problem correcting the other side who look like idiots for trying to manipulate our justice system. Chris takes a lot of pride in what he does and it shows throughout the process, from his professionalism in and out of the courtroom to his utter knowledge of the process, the kindness and compassion he shows his clients, and attentiveness and attention to detail. I can't say thank you enough or even gather the verbiage to put my thanks into words for Chris, Morgan and the rest of the phenomenal team at Doran Justice. Needing a criminal defense attorney?? Doran Justice is the only answer! read more

In a world in which so many people care only for themselves- working with Doran justice truly was such a breath of fresh air! My case had so many special circumstances due to my situation. My two year old sons father and I had been married for one month (a marriage I would later find out that he himself had stated to family he was only in because I was a convenient place to stay amongst many other things I'd discover he'd done) when he went to prison. He has a violent and very nasty angry streak/history that he has never seemed to have been able to stay off of for very long and has proven this many times I'm the past. I felt so lost and desperate at the time that I had reached out to Chelsey and Shelby - who ended up being just the dream team that I needed. I was very specific and picky about what I wanted and wasn't willing to leave very much wiggle room. Not only did they assist me with getting approved to pay lower fees- but they also were so on top of my case. I ultimately was able to walk away with everything I had needed and wanted to ensure that my son will not be exposed to such a negative energy. They went above and beyond when Putting in place a graduated step plan prior to him gaining any visitation time with my son, getting me sole custody, getting my address protected to ensure that I felt safe upon his release, and especially when taking the insane amount of additional steps needed for the process due to him being in prison. Chelsey processed all of my documents efficiently and with speed (literally she would have already turned in the next steps needed prior to me even realizing that the last task had been completed!) and was very communicative through out all of it - and Shelby was wonderful at explaining the steps, giving me my options and possible outcomes, and even at speaking with my ex in a way that allowed him to realize what I'm asking was not unrealistic while also some how not provoking him. I truly can not thank these fantastic women enough - but they definitely restored my faith and hope for the future. Thank you so much for fighting for my baby in a way that usually only a momma bear would have done. read more

Chris has done cases for me before and I've always admired how good he is with words and how hard he fights for justice. He will not be bullied by another party and will stand up for his client as if they were family. He is so reasonable and knows how to make his point so eloquently. I wish I could make a book of the email correspondence he has with other parties/counsels - he just has a way with words! He will always try to reason and settle before it gets to court, in order to avoid costing everyone thousands of dollars in fees and representation. I've recently used Chris for what should have been a cut and dry case but the defendant was firm in their beliefs that they were in the right. Chris sent an email explaining our position and how we were right by the law. We never heard a response. Chris had to get creative and involve a somewhat related third party. After a brief phone call with the related third party, the defendant let us know that they would comply with our request. The whole situation gave me immense anxiety and made me sick for weeks. After I involved Chris, he did nothing but calm my nerves and assure me that everything was going to be okay. He was absolutely right. I cannot thank Chris enough for his passion and devotion to everyone he helps (inside and outside his practice!) I have so much respect for this man. read more

Madison Van Nutter was fantastic. I was charged with a misdemeanor for criminally speeding (77 in a 40). I was immediately taken under her wing. The support from Madi and Doran Justice as a whole got my family and I through this incredibly hard time. Madi was accommodating, extremely knowledgeable and well versed in a court setting. When the date of my trial came, Madi stood beside me from the entry to the trial room, and all the way to the exit of the court. She was comfortable in the court room. She knew exactly what to do and I felt extremely taken care of. I knew I would be okay. After she took the time to learn my story and who I am, Madi built me a case and prepared for a mitigation and deviation request- long story short, I left court with nothing on my record (not even a civil speeding charge) and I am able to do driving school to get this mistake off of my record completely. It is because Madi supported me, got to know me as a person, and did everything in her power to ensure justice and comfort for me. I will be forever grateful to her for everything, thank you so much Madi! If you are ever in trouble or need help, I wholeheartedly recommend Madison Van Nutter and Doran Justice, because they're more than just lawyers- they're people who understand the law and truly care about you. read more

I am honored to write this review for what I will attest to be the greatest criminal and family attorney in Arizona. Chris took on a huge responsibility and deliver the greatest performance I could have ever expected, my son!!! During a troubled time in my life Chris demonstrated poise and professionalism guiding me through a tough time regaining the custody of my son. Chris and his team Jessica, Shelby and Lucille kept me informed and assisted me during several tough times in which not only I needed great counsel but an open ear to think clearly on the steps to follow. My journey throughout this process seem an eternity but Chris made it so I kept on gaining ground every step of the way allowing me to spend more time with my son and feeling like the end was rather near. I had Chris represent me on both a family matter and criminal matter and his knowledge and professionalism showed on both cases to be superb. I am pleased and once again, honored to recommend anyone in need of a great attorney at an affordable cost to visit Chris and his team to experience the same results and outcome as I did. Thank you Chris for getting my son back and for being a great advocate in the most needed time in my life. read more

I am not sure where to even begin. Chris and his team are beyond outstanding. The level of communication and transparency from this firm is above any other. Chris and Morgan, along with the rest of their team made myself and my family feel as though we were the only ones that mattered. They took the time and diligence to research all aspects of our case, along with always being available for calls or emails. We never felt brushed off or rushed when asking questions. The effort into researching my case was incredible. They took the time to ensure they had as much information as possible and verified all accuracy. Going to court with Chris was a feeling of safety and calmness knowing that Chris was confident in his research and was confident in presenting my case. Chris and Morgan are so personable and it made working with them that much easier. I truly felt I had allies in my corner and someone I could easily talk to in one of the most stressful times in my life. I cannot thank the Doran Team enough. I will be forever grateful for what this team has done for my family. read more

Ms Anderson of Doran Justice is beyond compare. Knowledgeable, kind, patient, but tough as nails! She helped me through a relatively acrimonious divorce with compassion and skill. When things became tense after my divorce was finalized, Ms Anderson agreed to continue to work with me giving legal advice and representing me in legal matters regarding my ex husband The office staff is also extremely friendly, and they keep the lines of communication open Ms Anderson is also generous. She has elected to work with a program here in Arizona called Modest Means. A program helping lower-income residents find affordable legal representation without Modest Means and Ms Anderson, I would have been grossly taken advantage of and without legal counsel or representation. Instead, working together with Ms Anderson, I was able to find a satisfactory agreement for my divorce. I cannot recommend her enough! read more

Personal injury cases are difficult because of the emotional and physical pain. I am so grateful to Chris and his team for all of the hard work they put into my case over the three long years it was active. They were professional and empathic every time we spoke or messaged, it felt like home stepping into the office. It is so important to find a law team who truly brings their all when talking to insurance companies and defendants' legal teams because they not only want what helps you, they believe it, and that really shows in Chris's representation. I would highly recommend Doran Justice to anyone wanting outstanding legal representation. From the caring and helpful front desk to the hardworking and tenacious paralegals as well as the other law professionals at this office. You will be taken care of. Thank you again to everyone who helped me! read more

I have had several attorneys but Mr. Doran and his legal staff are by far the best! I first reached out to Chris in 2021 for my set aside case. My case was extremely difficult and was a long shot. I had only 1% belief that we would win, but Chris and his firm came through for me 100%. They were professional, easy to communicate with, and kept me informed at every step of the case. Because of how they handled everything, there were zero objections from the opposition. This year I reached out to Chris again to successfully seal my case under the new Arizona law. In these dire circumstances, Chris and the team at his firm are amazing people who handle cases with expertise as well as with their hearts and humanity. I am SO thankful I found Doran Justice. Without getting into too many details, the case was a little difficult because it involved me unholstering my firearm to defend myself. I am thankful I had my Go-Pro as evidence and Chris defending me! Chris kept me abreast of all developments by setting up regular phone meetings while he tirelessly negotiated with the State Prosecuting Attorney. In the end, I am completely vindicated! The State did not pursue the charges. I truly believe it is partly because I had Chris defending me. Thank you, Chris!
