Quick service, with lots of space both inside and outside. Price:quality ratio is good, and it's one of only a few places I've found Tegernseer available -- get a few, they're delicious. The Kölsch trays are a good group-table accessory as well. Food is ok. All the schnitzels I've had there are pretty dry, and the mushroom sauce with the Jägerschnitzel overdoes the umami taste while not really re-hydrating the pork. Other food options (I haven't had the Maultaschen, these might be great) are general street-fare quality. If you're near and need food, or want somewhere cheap to start the night, definitely stop in. But, I'd go elsewhere for beer, food, or social scene. read more

A large place halfway between restaurant, take-away and fast-food outlet, but with solid tables and seats. They serve mostly popular versions of local dishes. I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of their 'Schwaben' Maultaschen and particularly given that decent price (I think it was EUR7). I got served at my table and got a nice looking plate with two stuffed 'pastry bags' on a bed of baked sauerkraut with a succulent curry sauce. Most of the staff is a bit young so not too concerned with customer care, but definitely not unfriendly or so. I am quite sure I will return there soon to try some more. read more

Das todis scheint zu polarisieren. Ansonsten wären nicht so viele unterschiedliche Meinungen eingetragen. Das reizt mich/uns und wir gehen hin. Klares Konzept. Service und Speisenqualität sind durchaus vergleichbar (vielleicht sogar besser) als so manches klassisches Restaurant. Die Maultaschen sind frisch und lecker. Meine Partnerin wählt die Currywurst mit Pommes. Diese sind weltklasse knackig. Die Sauce warm und auch nicht von schlechten Eltern. Frisch müssen die Speisen auch sein, da offen vor den Augen der Gäste gekocht wird. Nach studieren der Homepage ist klar, dahinter stecken leute mit Gastrowissen. todis hat sicherlich Zukunft. Die Kässpätzle hab ich noch nirgends besser gegessen, vor allem in Kombi mit einem leckeren Salat. Von der Portion werd ich super satt. Dabei draußen zu sitzen bei schönem Wetter ist ein Genuß und sehr gemütlich und auch das Personal war immer sehr freundlich zu uns. Ich kann das Todis nur weiterempfehlen! read more
