A lot of individuals are saying it's expensive; most likely due to the "small portions/price,"but as mentioned, these proportions are perfect and the taste is worth the price! I have hit many Paulaner restaurants in Germany over the years, but this is one on my favorite spots, nestled in a little square under the trees and surrounding a nice water fountain. The last time was during the World Cup, when I managed to get a seat next to the fountain with a perfect view of the TV. On the most recent occasion, I sat on the other side of the fountain. This place is usually bustling, and it is difficult to grab a table outside, but the staff always seem to accommodate me. I always order a nice, fresh and cold Hefeweizen beer, and even though I peruse the menu, I get the same thing- Schweinshaxe, or Pork Knuckle, they do it like no one else- it's ALWAYS consistently good, juicy, crispy, perfect.
