Even after I explained she is my wife, they became combative and insisted she could not pick it up unless she had the exact same last name. They offered no solutions whatsoever, no option to cancel and re-order, nothing. Their employees were no help at all. What a complete waste of time today. To top it off, the bag they gave me with my first pickup was ripped and unusable when I got home. That was the last straw. We will never shop at Total Wine again. There are plenty of liquor stores in Wisconsin that actually value their customers. Total Wine feels too big and corporate -- it's all about the dollar, not the customer. I highly recommend shopping elsewhere and supporting local businesses instead. Extremely disappointed after years of loyalty. First off, the gentleman that helped us out was really nice and really knowledgeable. He explained that most if not all of their stock is hand made by local glass artists. Second, they have a lot of really beautiful pieces that you might even buy just to smoke tobacco out of (probably not the intended use), and their durable too. He even tossed a few onto the concrete floor to prove it. Plus, they have a few great noveltyish artsy pieces too (check out the hammer). Also, they have some really nice one-of-a-kind glass wine stoppers too, and some other non-smoking handmade glass stuff as well. They also offer the occasional class on glass bead-making, and they may have a class on glassblowing too. Even if you're not big on the use of herbal supplements, so to speak, this place is pretty cool to check out for beautiful hand-blown and hand-shaped glass.
