The company cleaned the edges, moved some dirt, leaves and worked around our plants to do an excellent job for us. We were told 2-3 years before we need another coat, that would be great. Nice group of guys, I'd recommend them to do your driveway, lot or space that needs a superior oil based product. See you in a while, thank you First Class Cleaning and Asphalt Sealing. Nice work.

Scott was very careful and thoughtful about which trees needed to be removed and patiently answered my questions. His quote was slightly higher than the other 2, but I got the impression they were worth it, and they were. It was obvious that Scott wasn't interested in clear cutting but was dedicated to providing solutions to keep our current trees healthy. I cannot stress how important it is to get this kind of work done right. You can't just buy 40 foot trees. Owner Scott was professional and patient to show me which trees were dying and which trees could thrive. His team were friendly, efficient, skilled and went above and beyond (spoke to my neighbour about the work that was about to happen along the property line and friendly to other neighbours who interacted with them). Owner Scott did a walk about after the work was done to ensure I was happy. I would highly recommend Lakeside Tree Service. These guys know what they're doing and they do it really well. Looking forward to using them again and again.

The final results of the entrance, walkways and plantings were aesthetically pleasing, giving the home instant curb appeal. It appears that no matter how large or small the work, Ralph is ready to access a problem and offer suggestions. In my case, Ralph took the time to to repair a section of my flagstone retaining wall with the same care and precision given to larger projects. In addition, his wife Cynthia was often seen working by Ralph's side. The young family make a good team!

Ralph also installed a better draining system from the downspout at the side of the house and did an excellent job installing new stone between the walkway and our paved driveway. We're so pleased with the maintenance work that it makes us wish that we had known them in 2006 because we're sure that if they had done the original work, none of the subsequent maintenance and adjustments would have been necessary. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping work to be done.

After getting quotes from several companies we chose Toby's because of their positive reviews, the fact that they were willing to email a copy of their insurance and the fact that the gentleman who did the initial inspection and quotation took the time to answer our questions. Toby's was not the cheapest quote we got but we had a feeling that they would do a good job, not cut corners and be safe in their work practices. We were correct on all counts! Their 'climber' showed up early on God agreed upon day, assessed the job to be done and then planned out the job with the rest of the crew when they arrived. Toby and his wife also showed up to supervise the job. Allowing for an unforseen problem with their wood chipper, the job was done, yard cleaned up and trunks taken away well within the time quoted. I highly recommend Toby's Tree Service. Peter

Hydro came and inspected and the job was still incomplete. They said they would return in the morning to finish the job and never showed. They are crooks and I would never recommend them to anyone. They will lie right to your face and clearly do not have a clue how to honestly quote a job.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. They were on time (earlier than estimated in…read morefact), right on budget, and the work was fantastic. In the real world, you'd unfortunately get one, maybe two of these things when renovating so we feel extremely lucky. They happily worked with the initial estimate (tweaking here and there) until we were completely happy with the plans and cost. The staff and contractors are all extremely kind and helpful. We had a major issue come up, and instead of simply repairing and carrying on they brainstormed and implemented a preventative fix so that the issue would not re-occur in the future. Paul and Maureen were so easy to communicate with and were transparent throughout the entire process. We made multiple changes to our existing plans, and they never hesitated or became frustrated. They also never pushed unnecessary work onto us and went the extra mile numerous times to ensure our house was safe. The type of renovation we did was a complete gut job - a lot of money and a ton of work, but this team made us at ease and confident the entire way. We have been recommending them to anyone who will listen!!!!!
