We reached out to reception, and within MINUTES we had the problem resolved and they sent us money to pay for our food. Really really glad it wasn't a hassle and we greatly appreciated kelly's help. Really happy with their help and understanding

Really disappointed with the lack of professionalism and behaviour of Marshall from this team…read more After 1 hour of conversation about a deck for our home in which Marshall reassured us that with his years of experience what we wanted would be possible, he provided us with a one page 'scratched out' drawing of the deck design, again reassuring us that this is all we would need for a permit which we emphasized we needed to get. He charged 1000 dollars for this time and drawing as a down payment. Suffice it to say the drawing was far from adequate, the proposed deck would not work without another 1000 dollars to the town to ask for a variance to allow for it's size in proximity to our neighbour which we believe a 'professional' such as Marshall claimed to be would know. We were unable to proceed and told Marshall but he would not return the 1000 dollars or any portion of it, or offer an alternative design, but did claim he had booked the start date with his crew for 2 weeks time from receiving our down payment. we not informed of this-no written contract or verbal discussion, and he did so without us having a valid permit in hand as we stated we needed. He expressed he was out 27,000 dollars in expected income for which we later were sent an invoice. Hopefully the invoice is just another example of his disorganization and not an expected receivable. Very disappointing and we can not recommend this service.

We purchased a 10 X 12 screen room and 8 X 10 woodshed which we are thrilled with both. The workmanship, communication and willingness to satisfy is exemplary. Many businesses could learn a great deal from NorthSheds on how to conduct themselves for success!! NorthSheds also converted a 1920's outhouse into a new bunkie for us and blended the style and colour to match the existing cottage. We could not be happier and strongly suggest that you do not hesitate to engage Shawn or Brad.

Our 50' white ash was severely damaged as a result of the recent ice storm…read more It was hanging over our and our neighbour's roofs. We needed it taken down quickly and professionally. After getting quotes from several companies we chose Toby's because of their positive reviews, the fact that they were willing to email a copy of their insurance and the fact that the gentleman who did the initial inspection and quotation took the time to answer our questions. Toby's was not the cheapest quote we got but we had a feeling that they would do a good job, not cut corners and be safe in their work practices. We were correct on all counts! Their 'climber' showed up early on God agreed upon day, assessed the job to be done and then planned out the job with the rest of the crew when they arrived. Toby and his wife also showed up to supervise the job. Allowing for an unforseen problem with their wood chipper, the job was done, yard cleaned up and trunks taken away well within the time quoted. I highly recommend Toby's Tree Service. Peter

This was a straight forward job- clear 5 meter from any pole that hydro is erecting- nothing on the job site changed- we didn't add trees and more trees didn't grow over night. Very clear instructions and map provided by hydro. We in good faith paid them another 4 000 because they refused to finish the job without further payment. Hydro came and inspected and the job was still incomplete. They said they would return in the morning to finish the job and never showed. They are crooks and I would never recommend them to anyone. They will lie right to your face and clearly do not have a clue how to honestly quote a job.
