Upon leaving my rental unit, for which I paid consistently and on time, I was asked not only to pay for some minor issues with the unit, I was also not allowed a resonable grace period to respond with payment. Melchior sent me a bill and I paid it less than a week after receiving it. Three days after putting the cheque in the mail, I got a letter from a collection agency asking for the payment. After calling Melchior Management, I was informed that they now would have nothing to do with me, and that I was expected to write ANOTHER cheque and send it to the collection agency. They don't care about customer service, and they care even less about good business practices. I would recommend trying to avoid them at all costs, since their property management is only about the bottom line instead of making a tenant's stay somewhat enjoyable. You'll find yourself paying for costs that were not included in the lease throughout your tennancy.

The final results of the entrance, walkways and plantings were aesthetically pleasing, giving the home instant curb appeal. It appears that no matter how large or small the work, Ralph is ready to access a problem and offer suggestions. In my case, Ralph took the time to to repair a section of my flagstone retaining wall with the same care and precision given to larger projects. In addition, his wife Cynthia was often seen working by Ralph's side. The young family make a good team!

Ralph also installed a better draining system from the downspout at the side of the house and did an excellent job installing new stone between the walkway and our paved driveway. We're so pleased with the maintenance work that it makes us wish that we had known them in 2006 because we're sure that if they had done the original work, none of the subsequent maintenance and adjustments would have been necessary. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping work to be done.
