Meilyn always does my nails and they come out so nice every time. I've come here literally since I was a kid that how long this place has been I'm 24 now. There have been lots of changes since but, what hasn't change is that they attend your as quickly as they can. There prices are definitely affordable to me. I've spent lots on my nails and they have always kept there prices the same, of course keep in mind depending on what your asking for the price can change but, for an acrylic with gel it's anywhere between $40-$50 usually max (for me)! That's because you can see in my photos i keep it pretty basic. Also that's with tip. Also I will say choose a good hour to go beat the rush! Why because there not rude but, people do get offended when they put there appointments first over a walk in that's been waiting. Be understanding. I went here before and had a good experience but this last time was horrible. Probably one I'd the worst experiences. First I looked at the prices which said acrylic full set $35+. I told the woman I wanted basic acrylic full set. She tells me $55. I was there already so I said fine. This already made me a bit upset. Also the colors she gave me were pretty limited to pick from. Then while in the beginning of getting my nails started she left to finish a pedicure on someone else. Nothing makes you relax like wondering if she washed her hands. Another tech came over and they were talking about a customer who had not left a tip. How she probably didn't have enough money and it was just so negative but it got worse. In the middle of everything she was watching tv and being kind rough. Then she gets a phone call from a precious customer that a man working there had locked in the store. She doesn't even stop doing my nails and this woman is on speaker threatening to come down and have her boyfriend beat the guy up. I'm no wondering if I need to leave half way though my nails because I don't want to be there when this happens. She's not even warning the guy. I was so happy to leave. My wife and daughter had visited this establishment 3 times prior to this visit and was pleased but after this most recent visit, her opinion of the establishment and ownership changed. She visited the establishment around 3 or 4pm. Not many nail technicians were available. The person that assisted her was an older male who was being rude. This is how she feels: "He was un inviting as he didn't instruct me at all in words just taps/slaps on my feet. He cut my nails where they bled, to the stub. He was rough and seemed as though he hated his job. The paint job was embarrassing and the overall pedicure (treatment to feet ) was a 1 of 5 . Didn't verify or care if the services were done well as he wanted to leave. When I communicated this to owner she made me feel as though it was my fault that I picked him (only available tech on shift at time) and said she can't control her employees. When I asked her if she cared how her employees were performing, she said that I should've waited for someone else. This was a complete waste of money and total disregard for customer satisfaction." The pictures we've added show the clumsiness of the job performed and the paint used had clumps in it making it very rough and uneven. The owner did not even attempt to redeem the bad work. Oh my God I'm so upset that I paid $155 plus tip them $10 for them to only last 4 days that I already had four nails bust I asked if they were going to fix them for me for free since they only lasted 4 days they told me they were going to charge me today is May 10th I lost another nail they have a very bad customer service and all their products are old to why my nails busted so early.smh do not go there if you just want to get taken horrible . My first time here(03/25/23).The girl that did my pedicure was nice, but my deluxe pedicure thats$35+ didn't feel like anything special. The girls next to me were there before me and started before me getting a long massage on the legs and feet(which I thought I was paying extra for) My massage and painted toes were done before them(they got what they paid for at least a 5min massage on each leg) My polish on my big toes dried ugly as well dripping look but I was only in the chair for tops 5/6 minutes before she put the salon flip flops on and got me out of the chair. Moving away from Hawaii meant that I'd lose all of my regular spots or favorite places. This includes my doctors, restaurants, bars, and even nail services! TNT was recommended to me by my husband's cousin who gets her nails done every month. She also said it was nearby home-which it is. I rarely get my nails done because the skin around my fingernails tend to bleed if the technician cuts too deep and then I start peeling and picking at it, its just horrible. I was in need of a pedicure real bad! I've been here twice since the referral, both times with my youngest child and once with my husband, who also received a pedicure. The place is very typical of your neighborhood nail salon, they have waxing services/rooms in the back of the store, fingernail desks lined against one side of the store, and pedicure chairs/tubs on the opposite. Oh, they also have a huge aquarium of orange colored cichlids (fish)...very mesmerizing. Each time that I went in to get my pedi, I have never waited. I usually go on a weekday in the morning hours. My son usually sits with me or on another chair and watches his iPad. I like getting Gel type polish because my kids are always stepping on my toes, and tend to chip it #lifelessons. Overall the facility is clean, uncluttered, could use an upgrade in their lighting, but the pedi seats seem new. I'll probably return here for pedis in the future. My birthday is coming up, so I might think about getting my nails done too. read more

I used to get my nails done here years ago. Since it was close to Smiths I decided to drop in for a pedicure. What a mistake! Both feet in cool water, both out in 1 minute. He rinsed my feet, trimmed my nails, trimmed the cuticles (no cuticle lotion) put a dab of oil on the top of each foot, added a dime size of lotion in his hands and rubbed oil on the top of my feet only. Then used a hot towel on the top of my feet and dried my nails. Painted my nails and walked me to the credit card machine and out the door. 15 minutes!!! 30.00 for what?? He said he'd do more if I paid more. No foot rub, no lotion on the bottom of my feet, didn't clean under my nails and he moved so fast it hurt. There was no relaxing, no sugar scrub, no care. I could have trimmed and repainted my toenails myself with everything that lacked in this pedicure. It was rude! It bothers me that this used to be a great place to go, but the owner no longer cares. All he said to me was, Pay more money and I'll do more. Pathetic. read more

Overall the techs are nice, the shop is def a nail shop in the hood nothing fancy, I mean they charge one dollar for a bottle of water kind of spot lol. Ok my experience my pedicure was cool, but my full set was mediocre. I give the nail tech an E for effort but his design game really needs improvement especially for a simple design as hearts. I drove from the other side of town because someone recommended this spot to me but I for sure won't be coming back. I did pay full price for them and even tipped him because he truly tried but he knew deep down that those heart designs were trash lol. And they had me waiting so long after I was seated in a booth to get serviced as well. Actually updating my review as I had only given it 4 stars even though the place was amazing-because that day..no one in there knew how to do any cool, trending 2020-2021 designs. Lol HOWEVER I simply can live without a major design when their work was so well done!!! Went with my mom, 2 sisters, toddler and we all got nails done and gel pedicures...the regular polish on nails did come off in about a week or so..but..ALL OF US LITERALLY HAD PERFECT GEL PEDICURES THAT LASTED-TWO MONTHS!!!! SERIOUSLY! They sent me back to seat #9 I sat there without water in my seat for like 10 min before an employee not sure who , called out a lady who was in the back using the microwave . I then thought to myself maybe she's on break or needs to get a quick bite to eat before she starts with me . She then comes out and sets my water to warm Then leaves me there without any indication she's coming back or anyone is coming . I then continue to sit there until i realize the lady is working on someone else's feet and so is everyone else . I said okay , I'm not sure what I'd going on due to the lack of communication from anyone in here . It's kinda just me in the chair alone away from everyone else waiting for anyone to acknowledge me and say I'll be right with you we are busy or whatever your suppose to say . I started to get frustrated so I started the timer on my phone to see how long it would take before anyone said anything . Well 25 min when by and just as annoyed you probably are right now by reading all this non Sense so was I . Employee kept walking by me and no one cared. I had been there over 30 min so I started taking my feet out of my now cold water and as I was taking my wet feet out the tub an employee looks at me and says " oh you don't want anything done anymore ? " outraged but in a low calm manner I expressed how I was sitting here and not one person said anything to me while I waited. She then looked away and kept walking to her other customer . I literally walked out with wet feet , squeaking and wetting the floor I walked on . No one said here's a towel , please be careful , I'm Sorry for the wait , or even the miscommunication. First of you go in there and it's pretty filthy from the walls to the table you sit in. So let me start from the beginning. I got there 3/15/20 and there was no wait because I went in an hour before closing time. I get seated in table #2. I am told that the set of Acrylic bails is $35 Including gel so I'm like cool! Cause other places charge more. Any way, the girl starts with my nails. She didn't even prep my nails before she just started putting the tips on. She then asked how long and I gave her the length and she said it would be $5 more so I said just cut it at where there is no charge and I liked the length cause it was still long, a medium/long. As she applied the acrylic and started filing they got shorter and shorter!!!! Then I noticed 2 of them we're all bumpy.. she then asked me what color I want my nails and if I want any stones. I said yea some stones, $5 more, which I am aware of. I then tell her I want my nails all white and she said it's gonna be $3 MORE?!?! For white polish?!?!? I knew she was tryna rip me off cause she came and whispered it to me when I was washing my hands and we were away from her boss. So I did not get white. Any way you can tell she was going a sloppy job cause she was tryna leave at 5. Came to the end. Paid her and she told me the gel would be dry by the time she's done. If I could give the lady that did my pedi it would be 5 negative stars. She was rude. She didn't even bother to ask what pedi I wanted. I'm Extremely ticklish on my feet and she didn't hide the fact that it Irritated her. Telling a customer that if they don't stop moving their feet their going to get cut! Like really!? Every other tech in the salon was very nice, cordial, very eager to please my daughter was extremely happy with her pedi and full set and not to mention her tech was very nice. I went yesterday to go get my nails done. Like always I go get them done with Kathy. I'm surprised because she always does a good with me. I've noticed yesterday when she was doing my nails that she was looking for a piece for her electric file. So I went there today and spoke to her and said if she can fix her mess and she said what mess. She was so insulted and said she didn't do no mess. And that she would charge me $15 to take off and re do everything plus what ever it needed to be repaired. I don't drive across town for just any nail salon. I honestly love the work that they do here. TNT is a family owned and ran business. The staff is always friendly, the place is clean, and I am always happy with the look of my nails. Tina, the owner, is my favorite to get work done. She has done my nails and my eyebrows. If you really want to see her true talent, ask her to draw a flower on your nail, it always comes out beautiful. Mai is another talented nail stylist.
