I went to London Nails because the nail shop I normally go to was closed temporarily due to the virus. They're located in the shopping center with the Albertsons. The staff seemed super friendly. They are currently making people wear mask and asking that you make an appointment first. My nails came out ok. I wouldn't say it's the best set I've got. There was a nail that looked like the gel ran on to my finger a bit that I might have to file down later. Didn't catch it till I was at home. They don't look really neatly done. They did cost about the average price I pay. $40 full set with gel nail polish. I did notice that the other women in the salon with me sounded like they have been going there a while so maybe it was just because they had to work behind a piece of plastic making it more difficult to do nails. Not sure. Next time I'll probably go back to my normal salon if it's open. read more

I'm very upset. I've gone out of my way for months to have Lynn do my nails, I liked her service. Mostly I'm upset that I can't come back without the fear of being WAY OVER CHARGED. I go in for a fill every week and a half ($15) and I ALWAYS tip $10 This time I decided to go a little crazy and get a gel polish. I was told ok it's additional $5 no problem with me. I then ask if the color can be matte, she says ok that's another $5 we're looking at 15 + 5 + 5= $25 Not a problem at all. I then get a pedicure usual is $20 I ask for matte black gel should bring it to $30 Lynn then proceeds to charge me $75 for a FILL and pedi with matte gel polish ?! That's over double the price of the standard work.. I explained to her she overcharged me and she blatantly lies saying she made me well aware a pedicure would be 40 and fill $35.. absolutely ridiculous. No tip and no longer receiving my business. I've been here at least 3 times so far for pedicures. The price is reasonable: $20 for a standard pedicure. You have 2 other options for pedicures: The Special Pedicure for $30 and the Deluxe Pedicure for $35. The special pedicure options include a hot stone massage, massage on your hands, sugar scrub, sea salt scrub, and more. I enjoyed the standard pedicure. Tracy is my usual nail tech. She is very friendly and does an excellent job each time. She takes her time and asks you your preferences on nail length. Her foot massages are really relaxing too. read more

Every time I come here there is only one or 2 customers but they say that they are too busy. They will not tell you there is a 20 min wait just basically "we are too busy you can leave". This place is TERRIBLE. As soon as I got home, my thumb nail broke while I was EATING DINNER. Three days later, my other thumb nail broke while I was pulling up my pants at work. I don't wash dishes and I work a desk job. My gel coating ($5) is peeling and chipped. The one star is because they carry glitter and metallic tips and they are friendly. I will be complaining today. Very nice people but the place is dirty needs to be cleaned.they're not really good at painting nails. They don't have a lot of the stuff to do the styles these days I nails. I got a pedicure or they're not only was the water lukewarm, and they didn't do the pedicure very good because I still have rough feet I also asked for a design that included painting odd the white tips on my toes which some are very very fat some are very skinny some are just completely lopsided was not impressed. They have nice massaging chairs and the technicians are always nice. They do gel manicures too (25) and they really do last a long time. Avoid this place at all cost. Women employee kept trying to sale me gel when all I wanted was regular. She kept insisting so much I got up and choose the nail polish I wanted. She then told me to hurry up and decide that she didn't have time for this. After I gave her the regular nail polish she did everything so fast. She used the nail machine so fast that it hurt I had to tolerate the pain. She painted my nails back to back without letting them dry they are so thick. I had my 2 years old in his stroller tell me why she rushes to finish my nails and gets my son away and just directs me to move away from her work space. I was in a good mood that day and even then I didn't give her one cent on a tip. It was my second time going there usually it's her and a guy. But never again. The pedicure consist of sitting in a big great massage chair that also soaks your feet and then the next steps are massaging your feet & calves with a sugar scrub & a mud mask as well as a hot rock rub. Well if you need a cheap set and only square you can go here dont expect anything modern no coffin or almond shapes and the nail polish selection is awfull all old and the gel even worse I wouldn't trust it. I paid 20 instead of 50 but i took a gamble. I went here 3 times just cause i figured I'd give it a fair shot he cut atleast 3 cuticles each time and I brought my own nail polish it was brand new but he did my nails unevenly the polish thick half way on my nail than I decided to just take them off . I noticed he went so deep on my natural nails a lot of them are sensitive to the touch it looks like the 2nd visit or my fill so I'm waiting until they grow out. My last visit my thumb and middle finger nails had lifted he didn't cut off anything or put glue he just placed acrylic on top that was the main reason I took them off this is very bad! it cause an air pocket that can develop moisture and will cause fungus he shouldn't do that to anyone he should know better. This is hands down the worst pedicure I've ever had. I walked in, they took me in THEN called in a person to do my pedicure. They immediately started soaking my feet while I waited. Too bad they did that, it gave me time to survey my surroundings. The place was absolutely FILTHY. This also gave me time to read their pledge and menu. Trust me, nothing was like what the menu said. After I soaked for 30 minutes, the person to perform the services came in with a friend. In the meantime, another customer had come in for a pedicure. The "friend" started soaking the other customer while the actual employee started mine. They then began switching back and forth between me and the other customer. The "friend" wasn't able to do anything but the lotion application. As a nurse, I'm always concerned about sanitation. When she brought out what was promised to be 'NEW equipment for each manicure', it was obvious to me that it had been used many times. I should have walked out at that time, but I figured it was too late to avoid fungus or infection at that point. I felt my time was rushed between 2 customers and I certainly did NOT get what I paid for. I just hope I didn't get more than I paid for in the form of infections or fungus. UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP- Unfortunately none of the former staff of London Nails still exists. When I called and asked for a same day appointment with my long time manicurist David, I was told to come in. They lied to me and made it seem as if he would be there. I hadn't been in for a while, due to a broken leg. The truth was that he hadn't been there in quite a while. In a moment of bad judgement I decided to stay and it was the worst manicuring experience I have ever had. I'm not difficult to please, but its sooo annoying for me to spend extra time with a nail file to adjust crummy nails that were just finished at the chop shop. The unknown manicurist snapped when I wished to explain what I like and she asked me to let her do her job and wait until the end. The truth was, she didn't have time to listen. It was clear, based on how many times I kept hearing- 30 minutes, 30 minutes, 30 minutes. A full set of acrylic nails is expected to be completed with in 30 minutes. Never again will I accept this type of treatment. I am back to doing my own acrylics again.....With 20 years experience doing my own nails, they come out pretty damn good and it saves me the waste of money and frustration.....Oh and by the way, if my review is closely followed by a good one, it is obviously a fake review posted by someone who works there. read more
