I love coming here jack and his wife Le are the only people that service me for my acrylic full set and gel pedicure and they always do such a fabulous job I'll forever keep coming here I've been coming since 2018! These are a few of the sets jack has done over the years and the gel polish I get on my feet last a whole month before I go back and see them! Prices are a fair price especially for all acrylic full set with specialty nails as well! Needed a pedicure and my regular salon is closed on Sundays- read other reviews and thought I would try this one. And I am glad I did- the sign says appt only but I went in any ways- after a short wait I was able to get my pedicure. I watched Jack complete two manicures while I was there- both customers appeared to be regulars and were happy with their nails. My tech seemed to be new but did a good job. She was not comfortable doing art work so Le did it and I could not have been happier. It was what I wanted- a little flower with some color. It's a quiet shop so if you need a place to relax and get quality work this is the place. read more

I will never come back here again! I do not recommend this little hole in the wall to anyone!! I should have went with my gut feeling the first time, but I gave it a chance! I have been here four times and only received nail services from Ivy. She continually cuts my skin and makes it bleed. She files my nails unevenly and this time I asked her to fade the color and only to see it look like a straight line. We had to go back-and-forth until it looked halfway decent. I asked her to curve my nail and it looks like a board. I've asked her before to do this and she just can't get it right. I asked her to do other designs before and she tells me that she can't do it. It also is disappointing to always find acrylic all over my fingers and the back of my fingers and she won't clean it up. When she cut me I told her I am bleeding and she just nodded her head and said okay. I asked her again and she continued to work on my nails then she finally put alcohol on it. When I got home I poured hydrogen peroxide and almost all of my fingers were burning. I am very unhappy with this place charging me so much money and not getting what I pay for!!! Okay I'm not one to bash on places, but I had to post regarding this salon. I've came here a few times and now I realize the reason I don't. I went to get my nails done last Friday and it seems that they've already chipped! Not only that but the person who was doing my sails was not listening to how I want d my nails done. All I requested was for a gel polish and not it looks horrid! The place itself is very clean and nice and the people are okay. I've been coming here for almost two years and have also brought others in with me. They don't appreciate people, Jack always have an attitude. I highly recommend VIP nails. Moving to the west coast has been rough on my nails. The dry heat makes them chip more and they aren't lasting as long. I've tried three places so far and VIP nails seems to be the best for me. I normally got dip nails in NJ but they do not work for me out here. When I explained this to the nail tech he jumped right in & recommended other options for me. He knew I was on a budget so we worked it all out and I love my nails. I received a pedicure as well and it was super relaxing. There are several pedicure options too! The massage that she gave was amazing and really helped my legs and feet. VIP nails is very clean and the staff is very nice. It is located right in the Walmart shopping center plaza over by Verizon! I look forward to getting my nails done again here. read more

manicure and gel overlay 30.00 First time here, I was hesitant with the manicure procedure. She used a tool I've never seen before, like a miniature sickle. I was kinda scared. I didn't feel like it was completely sanitary and I was kinda surprised that my manicurist let out a big cough without covering her mouth, so it was pretty much right in my face :(, she covered her face after that though. At this point I was hoping for the best outcome with this whole experience. 3 days later: one nail began to chip slightly. Almost a week now and 5 nails are chipped pretty well from normal everyday wear. I don't bite my nails or do anything rough with them at all. I don't even do dishes..lol. This nail shop is absolutely HORRIBLE! My best friend and I came here to get pedicures on January 26 and they the service was some of the worst I have ever experienced. The two ladies that did our pedicures were VERY rough and unfriendly. The nail tech that did my pedicure cut my left toe so badly that it hurts when I walk and I was bleeding pretty badly (never received an apology btw). My best friend specifically asked her nail tech, to cut her toenails into a round shape and her nail tech completely ignored her! When it came to pay, the guy who took our payment gave us the same NEGATIVE ENERGY. I will never return to this nail shop or recommend anyone to go here unless you are a fan of being cut, ignored, and being treated poorly. read more

I came in for a regular pedi and removal of my previous acrylic for a manicure. I did my pedi first, it was fine. When I went to soak my nails in the acid tone, I waited an HOUR soaking them. an hr is a ridiculous time to wait. The guy came by the first time and the acrylic was completely already off, he just had to scrape it off with one of tools..(how I've seen in many other nail salons do) instead this guy grabbed a paper towel to wipe them off? The paper towel made it worse and he had me soak and wait again. Which made it easy for him to make me wait while they attended 3-4 other ppl. So finally the lady did my nails. When I went to go pay, my total was $47 dollars. He said the removal of the acrylic was $10. Which is a ridiculous high price for just soaking them and having me wait an hour. Whatever I paid, but these nails are not worth $47 dollars. I've already messed them up cause I was ready to get out of there after being in there for 3hrs. But the lady didn't do a great job at coating them properly. This place is alright. I always request for Nathan to do my fills or full sets. Other than that i don't think I'll be back again read more

This was one of my worst experiences with a nail salon. I came into see my grandmother and treat her to a manicure and some gel. I decided to do my nails as well. First they start prepping my grandmother for a full set and not what we had asked, and when pointed out was accused of informing him wrong. Okay, no biggie. They do my nails, and the lady was going to leave my nails without buffing or coating! ???? I ask if she could please put a top coat and she does, thank you. In the end we go to pay and the lady says one charge and the guy spouts out something else. Well now, if you are gonna charge more than any other nail salon I've been to, you should know how to do your job. We already spent so much time there and needed to leave that when we noticed our MANY errors I took the hit and promise we will never go back. All my nails were different lengths....? I had to go home and refile them to be in unison. The nail polish bubbled and was uneven. My grandmothers was gloppy and not cleaned at the beds and looked very bad. 2 days later and the edges of her nail polish is coming up. I'm VERY disappointed. read more

A gel fill lasts me 3 weeks to a month with no nails breaking. I also get my eyelashes done here and they are really good price and last 2 to 3 weeks. I dropped off my mom and they had her waiting for over 40 minutes and when it was finally her turn a "regular" customer walked in WITH NO APPOINTMENT and they took her first before my mom and told her she had to wait another 40 minutes with an attitude and being so rude to her.
