We both ate a regular beef donair and large poutine, which was made with crinkled fries, shredded cheese and beef gravy. The donair was very tasty, of course made with donair meat, onions, tomatoes and tangy sweet donair sauce. Service was good and quick, and the ambiance is very traditional, like any other Burger Baron you would visit elsewhere. A must if you are in the area of Kelowna!!

Then another customer came in, got flat pop, told the manager and he tried again to fix it. He then went and talked to this other customer and gave him pop from another station. He did not offer that to us. Also, there were only our table and the second customer in store, yet the floors, the tables and the seats were all filthy. We used to love this place. Wasn't worth the 37.00 we paid for two meals.

As a side note, I really appreciate Triple O's/White Spot keeping this veggie burger on the menu. So many places have tried to switch to ones that "taste" like beef and I know I sure don't want my veggie burger to taste like beef. I order veggie for a reason. Well, multiple reasons, but it not being beef is the main one.

We got two small fries (one with Cajun seasoning and the other with California seasoning). The seasonings are included and free of charge when you order any fries. If you do order fries with their seasoning, they just hand you the seasoning packets. I prefer this option than them mixing it in for us. Anyways, the place was actually busy and surprisingly there was a line up on the day we went. NY fries is located inside the food court (in Orchard Park). The fries were fresh and tasty. The line moved very quickly and we got our food quick as well.

It's an order and pay at the counter and then they bring your food to you. The ladies at the front were very friendly, greeted me warmly and welcomed me as a first timer. It's nicely decorated inside, save for the lights and the fake pine in the ceiling. Dust collectors, and it is north of 30 degrees outside, hardly Christmasy. The photos on the walls look like a family member took them, which always tells a story My bacon and eggs arrived quickly, the softly poached eggs on the money, toast great, bacon crispy as requested. Hash browns were warm, not hot, but all in all very nice. I was not spoken to again after the food dropped, while others had a visit or three. I only had ice water, but it could have been topped up like the coffees were. All in all for an out of the way diner it was quite good, I'd take the lovely K there for sure.
