When I received a phone call to schedule an appointment, I also thought I was talking to someone from Stanley Steamer. When the "technician" showed up in an unmarked van, I asked him. He had an accent and I did not catch that he said he was from Stainless Steemer. He said something about some changes in the company. He then quoted me prices that were not what I was given over the phone. We agreed on a price. I allowed him to clean the carpet since I had already moved my furniture. The cleaning was sub-standard. I had to point out areas on the stairs which required a bit of extra work. The technician took all of 45 minutes. I've done better steam cleaning my carpet myself. I told him it usually takes me 2 hours to do my townhome. What an utter mess! I totally own that I screwed up from the get go. All I have to say is BEWARE. bks San Diego.

However, three big dogs don't mix well with a white sectional. I tried every tip possible to clean myself and even called a well known national brand.
