The initial consultation and final measurement with Eric, was very professional and Eric went over everything that had to be done. Eric is not a salesman, he has been in this profession for years, and is the owner. It was refreshing to have someone who actually knows what the job entails and not just a salesman was refreshing. The price of the materials and installation was very competitive. The doors and windows came in earlier than expected and installation was scheduled. Chris, Mike, Aaron, Dave and Walt were here for about 5 1/2 hours. They all were experienced, professional and completed a some what difficult project. My house was built in the late 50's so everything is not standard-sizing, etc., they did have to work through several issues. Everything passed inspection. There are some scratches, marks in the glass of the kitchen window and glass panel on the back door. Oscar came and noted everything and the glass panels are in the works to be replaced. This is nothing that the company damaged, just defaults in the glass. The consultation to final measurement to installation to setting up the inspection were all stress free. I could not say one bad thing about this company. I would highly recommend this company to friends, family and neighbors.

They were strongly recommended to me by a local pool builder who gets to see first-hand the work quality of screen enclosure companies, and he couldn't speak more highly of Southern Aluminum. After talking with a couple other companies, I talked with Steve Weiss, co-owner of Southern Aluminum, which annually installs about 250 screen enclosures around Tampa Bay. Steve was great to talk with, obviously has much expertise, and gave us a fair and competitive quote. Going with Steve was a no-brainer. We were in the process of building a new home, so from when I first talked with Steve to when we were finally ready to build our screen enclosure was a fairly long time. Steve and I kept in good touch by phone, text and email, so communications was very good, along with the plan he put together. When we were ready to build our large screen enclosure, Steve sent a two-man crew, Big John and Steve, with nearly 60 years of experience. It was remarkable to see how well the two professionals worked together, which included custom building the enclosure on site. They arrived early, worked hard and returned at same time every day for a week, and I could tell they take much pride in the quality of their work. They are true professionals and reflect the overall experience you get when you go with Southern Aluminum. The end result is a beautiful, well-built and solid screen enclosure that will allow us to enjoy our backyard for many years while keeping us mosquito-free. We couldn't be happier with Southern Aluminum Installations for doing great work at a competitive price. If you're looking for a local company to build a screen enclosure, I highly recommend Southern Aluminum.
