After several visits, Dr. Katakuri thought I would be a good candidate for an epidural. None of my other doctors suggested this but I decided to try it and I am glad I did. My pain went from excruciating to tolerable and it lasts for about 3 months. Chronic pain was depressing me so this has helped me in more ways than one! Also, the staff is really nice and professional and they have a new state-of-the-art facility located off I-95 TIP: Even if you have seen other doctors and didn't get results - this doctor might offer new ways of finding you relief.

I only expected this to be a standard first visit, but I found some immediate relief for most of my pain almost immediately (even if only for a couple of hours). We repeated the procedure on my second visit and same results so it was on to the next step. On the day of my procedure, the insurer had failed to authorize the rfa ablation and I had to cancel the procedure. After a tug of war with insurer, and trying to get them to approve the procedure in time for a 12/23/24 date, it was still too late and the office was scheduled to be closed on 12/24/2024. After the end of business on 12/23/2024, the office called me that they had approval for the procedure and instead of waiting to the third date that was set for on 01/09/2025, the doctor opened his office on the 24th to do my procedure. What else is there to say, from closed to open for me? I am so grateful. This should be 7 stars!!!

In September, they again charged us in advance and their care giver was pulled over on her way here for expired registration. Okay, that could happen to anyone. The cops discovered her insurance had expired for months so they took her license. She finally arrived a few hours late and we let her go home early, we felt bad and told her she could charge us for the day. The next time she was scheduled, she called in sick(because she couldn't drive) and was never replaced. Called in sick the following week. A few weeks later, the person scheduled just never showed up. When we called about it, the owner was surprised but never replaced her. Bottom line, a 91 year old lady overpaid this company by $350. When we asked for a refund, they said they would pay us at the end of the month. We called again in December and the owner told us that they don't do refunds. I told her we already requested the money months ago and they agreed. She said she would pay us at the end of the month. This went on for a few more calls. The last one she stated the check was in the mail(I'm sure we've all heard that one). Mail doesn't take two weeks from Melbourne to Merritt Island. We texted her again and she said the mail was slow. My 91 year old mother in law still has not received the $350 owed to her. So I'm sorry, how could a company that rips off a 91 year old lady be decent!!!

So, I used Yelp to help me find an agency in Melbourne, Florida who would immediately assist me in getting groceries for my mother who was to ill to leave the house. I called Home Health Care as soon as I got off the phone with my mother and they agreed to go to the market for my mother to get her groceries and deliver them. They did that within an hour of my call and request. For anyone with elderly parents who live alone, it's a very worrisome dynamic and especially if you do not live nearby. I am very grateful for Home Health Care's prompt Assistance today and highly recommend them.

I had this agency come to my condo for almost a month before I went to First Choice Therapy on Harbor City BLVD. Long story short, this agency didn't do what they were supposed to do and I ended up with a frozen shoulder. I went through hell with First Choice as they tried to break up all the scar tissue, etc. to get my shoulder moving again. It was the worst pain ever. First Choice asked me, the first session, what this agency do to move my shoulder. My answer was nothing. They were absolutely horrified and I then knew I was in trouble. For 4 months, Mom., Wed. and Fri I endured the most awful pain I've ever experienced! First Choice did a wonderful job getting me straightened out, and I am now in a pretty good place. But I am SO incredibly upset with Home health of Florida that I could spit nails. Because of them, I suffered terribly. I could never recommend a shoulder replacement patient to use them. They may be good for some things, but in my case they made my life miserable!

My wife sought treatment at Livewell for trauma-related mental health care. Unfortunately our…read moreexperience there was very troubling. Her medication specialist, Trish, repeatedly added medications during appointments until my wife was taking a large number of prescriptions. Eventually my wife expressed that she was uncomfortable continuing to add medications and wanted to focus more on therapy. During our last appointment with Trish, I was present and heard her say that the holiday season could be difficult and that my wife should lean a little heavier on her medications if needed. She also said that if my wife ran out early, she should call and it would not be a problem. Shortly after this, my wife experienced the death of a close family member. She followed the instructions she had been given and leaned on the medications during that difficult time. When she ran out slightly early and contacted the office as instructed, the response from Trish was extremely hostile and accusatory. Instead of receiving support, my wife was labeled as a drug seeker. Following that situation, she was denied further medication management and also refused counseling services including EMDR therapy that had previously been discussed. Communication with the office was also difficult. Whitney at the front desk often did not return urgent medication calls, and interactions with Mary were consistently dismissive and unhelpful. When my wife attempted to leave a review about her experience, Michelle, the manager, contacted her and told her the review needed to be removed and claimed that mentioning staff members by name was illegal, which is simply not accurate. The only positive outcome from this situation came from Cathy, who overheard what was happening and later helped my wife continue receiving care outside of Livewell. Mental health patients deserve compassion, stability, and support--especially during times of grief and trauma. Our experience at Livewell was the opposite. If you are considering treatment here, I strongly encourage you to seek help elseware. This was the most traumatizing experience we ever had!!!

I will say, the one downside (and totally overcome-able) is that the reception staff seem to struggle to keep up with some of the policies. So far though, they're super forgiving when there are misunderstandings and work hard to keep up with the intense scheduling issues that can arise. Scheduling 5/5 Respecting 5/5 Communication 4.5/5 Staffing 4/5 Patient Interaction 10/5 - they are seriously the best!! They know why they get paid so much, haha! PT Professional provides outstanding care with one-on-one attention. Prior to going to PT Professionals I had been going to a different physical therapy group on Merritt Island. PT Professionals is so superior to this other group. I have been treated by several of the therapist and all have been very professional and skilled. Normally Chardae is my therapist. She is very caring and knowledgeable therapist and I always feel much better after a session. She is extremely knowledgeable of the various physical therapy techniques. I most recently have been treated after surgery on my shoulder. PT treatment started the day after the surgery. She has me perform various exercises to strengthen the shoulder. She manipulates the shoulder to allow for more range of motion. My favorite acitivity is when she massages the shoulder. It feels so amazing. She knows just what to do to make the shoulder feel better. She is a very skilled and professional therapist. While having treatment I have watched while therapist provide other patients therapy. They customize the treatment around the patients problems and abilities. Over time I have seen these other patients continually improve. Over about 6 weeks we were able to take me from being so sore that I spent most of my time on a heating pad to having almost zero pain and a LOT more flexibility. What was different about PT Pros is that we kept mixing up the workouts. Other PTs I have been to can so repetitive that I drop out. Bottom line, I went in broken and came out a lot better, with the tools to keep improving. PT Pros rocks!
