They did an amazing job! The house build took a little over 1 year to complete from site grading to final inspection. PCB pulled county permits, did the site grading, water tank pads (quantity 2, 10' diameter each), trenching for water and electrical lines, tank pump controller and pump selection, footings, stem walls, framing, roofing, doors, windows, plumbing, electrical, insulation, decks, flooring- the whole 'megillah'! Matt Blessing (PCB, owner) provided a fair quote based on our engineering drawings. He was familiar with the sub-contractors in the area. Matt worked directly with our engineering firm to resolve any design issues and keep the project moving forward. The PCB crews kept a clean jobsite. Suppliers were, we presume, paid promptly (materials were delivered to the site as required and no liens were filed). Matt managed his sub-contractors well and worked amicably with the subcontractors that we brought into the project- which included the supplier for the windows and doors, the cabinet maker, fire sprinkler system installer, septic system installer and the mason for our stone fireplace. I am confident that he would have otherwise been able to bring in his own subs in those areas had we directed him to do so. Throughout the project Matt kept us appraised of any issues that might impact cost and offered suggestions to improve on our plans. My son, who worked in the siding business in Southern California, visited during the house framing and was very impressed- noting that the quality far exceeded any project on which he's worked. We are very happy with the results and would recommend PCB for any residential construction project.

He is very polite and overall nice guy. I noticed he does not have a lot of reviews because he is new to Yelp. The work completed was very professional. He had to stay longer to solve unforseen issues and did not complain one bit. In addition, he did not charge me extra for the time he was here. His quotes were below most companies as well! Do not hesitate to call Doug and have him complete projects in your house.

What should have been a straightforward job dragged on for 9 straight days and still wasn't close to being finished. The countertops were unleveled, had uneven edges, didn't align with appliances, and had inconsistent patterns with visible bubbles and lines. Parts of it weren't upholstered well, making it easy to maneuver instead of being sturdy. The backsplash was also messed up, leaving a noticeable gap at the back of the counters. The undersink plumbing was done so poorly that water gushed out of the piping, so I had to hire another contractor to fix that. Olivia was committed to address some of these things, but the final straw was the lack of plastic covering in the kitchen and living room, leaving everything coated in dust. I even experienced some breathing issues afterward due to all the dust in the air. Because of this, I ultimately stopped the job a day before it was contracted to be complete. It's now been a month since I went beyond the contract to pay 50% of the last payment, yet I've received no reconciliation. I have not seen any license number for her business which probably should've been my first clue. Disappointed.

He then proceeded to do testing, and proved we had a defective window installation. He did all of this during a 1 hour visit, climbing a ladder and using a garden house just to do a free "estimate".
