Unfortunately there was a mixup and she scheduled me for a day when they are closed, she apologized profusely and gave me a discount on the grooming service! Very attentive and genuinely wanted to make up for her mistake. Shampoochies did a great job grooming my little pup, she generally doesn't like being groomed so I appreciate that they gave her special attention. They also don't force the dogs to be blow dried if they don't like to be, and will wait for them to air dry if needed. Lastly, when we got home she had these adorable little bows on. :) Give them a try if you're looking for a groomer!

Strangers regularly comment on how wonderful his coat feels and how good he smells. This is even 3 days after he's been groomed and has been playing hard for those days. When I wanted to bring him weekly, they said he didn't need it - so no false up-selling which I appreciate. They now have a day play offering with great prices. While I've transition to more work from home, so he doesn't need to go to day play as often, I wouldn't hesitate to send him there if he needed to burn off some extra energy or needed the interaction of other dogs. In short we both love the staff and would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a groomer.

I followed Violet from her old location and have been taking my pets to her for years. She is very detail oriented and if she ever sees anything of concern she'll bring it up to me which I really appreciate. She always has the pets wellbeing foremost in her mind and often discusses with me what grooming is right for them rather than just trying to add unnecessary services. They are also very patient with my cat who has definitely scratched them multiple times but they still give their best effort. The office staff are also very nice!

I probably should have gotten a full cut since her hair was WAY too long but I'm picky and don't trust groomers easily. When it was someone else, he didn't look primped and as clean-cut has he has in the past. I started shopping around and found this new groomer "The Fuzzy Dawg" in Alpharetta (Holcomb Bridge Rd. and Barnwell, very close to Norcross). I called to get an appointment over a weekend, and they were booked up (that's a good sign for a new groomer, when I'm trying to make an appointment at the last minute!). I made an appointment for a day during the week the following week. I took him in and was impressed with how clean the store was! I was greeted immediately with "Hi there, Is this Tyler?" The groomer, Stephanie, took a break from the Chow she was grooming to come over and ask me some questions about how I wanted him groomed. I filled out my paperwork as a new client, and they took him in the back and started lathering him up. I asked if they could groom him without a bath (since he's good about getting a bath at home, and I love the smell of my soap that I use at home). They said it's hard to get a good clean cut if he's not bathed, so I asked if I could bring in my own soap next time around - and they said "Absolutely!" They said it would be about 3 hours, and they would call me when he was ready for pick up. They called me about 2 hours later, and he was ready to go! I picked him up and he looked EXCELLENT! Kudos to Stephanie for a great doggy-haircut for Tyler! He is a sheltie mix, and rang in at $47, a little more than my old groomer, but they did a nice job, so it's worth it. Especially since it included a bath. I will definitely be back to the Fuzzy Dawg!

Scheduled my appointment with her spoke with her on the phone, spoke with her via text and all the times I communicated with her I mentioned numerous of times about matting and how badly matted my dog was due to me just having a baby we had to hold off on the groomers expense. I stated this to her and she mentioned she would be able to demat him no problem. Never asked for pictures never communicated that it could be a possibility that she wouldn't be able to do it. Etc. Instead, she secured my appointment and waited until the day of when I arrived to tell me that she wasn't going to be able to demat him due to liability concerns. I feel like it was a load of crap because she waited until the day of the appointment, have me drive all the way to her just for her to tell me she won't be able to do it. I reached out to her via text because thats how we've been communicating and I stated my concerns to her regarding how I felt as a client and she didn't respond which says enough to me. I sent Hachii to his vet and other groomers and no one had an issue with grooming him, it was finding a groomer with a reasonable price, which we were able to do, by the way. And Hachii is doing fabulous and looks so good and we're so happy to have him back in good condition. Just wish she would of told me to send pictures in prior to his appointment of his condition before having me drive all the way to her just to turn me away.
