After taking care of my baby Owen for every two weeks for 15 years she was really there for me step-by-step as it became time for him to cross over the rainbow bridge. At the end of the day, she took better care of him than even we did, and as you can see from his picture, he was pretty spoiled. My mom has been bringing our family dog here for years, so I decided to try it out for my own furbaby. I drove all the way from Buckhead and will be doing so from now on. Absolutely worth all of the Atlanta traffic! You can tell the employees love your babies like their own (for example, letting them hang out in a play area at the front desk with a window view while they wait rather than cooped up in stacked cages). When you walk in, you aren't greeted with what sounds like 20+ dogs barking/crying. They definitely have a personal touch here, and I was beyond pleased with Jenny's work. So, it was our first visit and our 6 year old lab mix refused to go into the store. She gets very anxious in new situations. Joyce came to the rescue with some treats to coax her in, and from there took exceptional care of our girl. She was introduced to her groomer (I wish I had her name!), and they did a basic bath and nail trim. When Sadie came out, she was wagging her tail and smelled great! All I care about is that my fur baby is happy, and she was very happy. This is our new groomer! Exceptional! read more

Havana, Axel and I are so very pleased with this salon! I feel they take excellent care of my fur loves while in their care. I was very nervous about having a dog that needed grooming, especially as much as a Havanese breed would need. My vet highly recommended Tish and her staff. Brittany is Havana's groomer and she is awesome. They are so very patient with me. They taught me how to comb/brush Havana to keep her looking her best. They listened to how my desire is to keep her coat true to the breed, and they told me how to succeed at that. My German Shepherd also gets to go for spa days for a breed bath. He does exceptionally well with them. I would highly recommend TLC! read more

TLC provided excellent customer service since the moment I called, I was having such a bad day because my groomer did not want to take my dog even though I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance when I called TLC they didn't have any room at the moment they took my information but they call me back and they took my , I am so thankful and Rocky looked as cute as it could be, thank you ladies for everything you did. read more

Extremely disappointed! We made an appointment 3 weeks ago for our Golden Retriever to get her first haircut. We have been looking forward to see her groomed. She goes yearly to get her shots to the vet but obviously not "all" the shots. I took records of her shots for her initial visit so they call the vet to find out she has never had a bordetella shot. Apparently sometimes we as owners have to ask for it as explained by the receptionist but she said sometimes they still groom them without it. She texted the owner and after there was no response she called the owner to be told they couldn't see my dog. How am I supposed to know what specific shot she needs to have unless I'm asked when I scheduled as a new customer? They dropped the ball with me as if they would have asked I would have had it done prior to her visit. Very disappointed! read more

My dog gets very anxious when she gets groomed, but I know she is treated well at TLC Pet Spa. She's always happy when I pick her up, and they do a great job grooming her. All the dogs are so happy to be there and get to play together if they want to. Since my dog has anxiety around other dogs they keep her up front behind the counter so she can look out the window and feel more relaxed. We were recommended to TLC by my wife's co-worker. Our little 10 pound chihuahua mix is a real hand full when it comes to trimming her nails. It got to a point where the vet said, that we would have to put her to sleep, basically drug her to have it done. Her words were, "It is impossible." I mean come on, a little 10 pound chihuahua mix. She had a very traumatic experience with another pet salon man handling her to have her nails trimmed and cut to close to the quick which caused bleeding and I can only imagine the pain. With much skepticism, we called TLC, made the appointment and went in. I explained to the kind, understanding lady over the phone (I think it was Kim) how skittish our little baby can be. We even laughed a bit at how a little 10 pound chihuahua would not let anyone touch or grind her nails. She literally turns into a little ninja dog LOL. Kim suggested that we bring her in and try before using the vets suggestion. From the moment we walked in, ALL the staff was friendly, smiled and were kind. We were greeted with smiles and felt very welcome. You can truly see the passion and love the staff have for animals. You definitely feel that energy when you walk in the doors. Thank you Tish and Leah for being so patient and gentle with our little baby ninja. She did fuss a bit, but with my wife and I talking to her and petting her and a lot of treats later, they were able to grind her nails. I have been there twice, when my regular groomer was unavailable. They are easy to get an appointment with DESPITE being very busy, they do great work, and the owner of the shop is a great lady who is very active with rescue organizations.
