I've been looking for a good PR restaurant and for some reason finding one in general is rare. This place was an incredible find. Tasted exactly how mi abuela would make it. Got Pollo Guisao with white rice and beans. Hit the spot. It was fresh, tender, and flavorful. Also got the chicken and beef empanadillas. The chicken one was a little more flavorful. 10/10 would say come support this business. The staff were extremely polite, funny, and welcoming! Fast service and delicious food! I don't know why this place only has 3.5 rating. The owner is ridiculously polite, and he will always take care of you, and has the warmest smile. Ok, rice was 5 stars the beans 4 stars the Spanish potatoe salad 3 stars The empanada De carne/ beef 2.5 stars. The pasteles was horrible I could not finish it, I was forcing myself to eat it 0 stars. 14.5 divided by 5 = 2.5 stars I have been to this place, "El Bohio" and "La Reyna" (I still need to do a the review for those places) And I have to say "El Bohio" on main street in Fitchburg is the best as far as Spanish restaurants in the area. I am Dominican so I know how it's suppose to taste like. I have top say, stay away from there pasteles! They are horrible! To think I almost bought a dozen for $26. without tasting it first. Being hispanic, I'm always ready to try out new spanish restaurants. In my area, (Fitchburg), there aren't many. Went during lunch time and they had a variety of foods ready to serve or to go. You can also order something special and wait a few minutes. Fast, friendly service and affordable prices. Food isn't too spicy or salty, which is good for those that aren't used to spanish food. I'm used to it and love spicy and more salt, but it's always great to be able to add to something rather than something being too salty. If you are a fan of empanadas, they cook it right there fresh. The food was very good, along with the order of empanadas I ordered. The plate I ordered along with 2 empanadas and a parcha juice (passion fruit) wasn't skimpy or small. I was able to feed myself and two others; under $11. That's a plus. Next time, I want to try their fish and chicken. It looked so good!!! They accept credit cards/debit cards. But the order must be at least $10 for a cashless transaction. They also deliver which is a plus. Definitely recommend this spanish restaurant!!! They are opened daily from 10am-7pm. read more

This used to be my spot when I lived in Mass to order authentic PR Spanish food! Still is...Stopped by in Feb of 2018 for my fix and they haven't changed. Still the same owners - which btw are the NICEST people around! The food is fresh and made with love. Highly recommended to anyone looking for true home cooking. Hidden gem located in Fitchburg. Amazing smells welcome you before you enter the restaurant. The staff and especially the owner was very helpful in ordering my food for I don't speak Spanish. When I moved to Fitchburg from Boston I was searching for Authentic PUERTO RICAN food because in Boston its mostly Dominican restaurants, don't get me wrong I like Dominican food as well but the two aren't the same. Worst customer service I have EVER had. Never going back Went a few days ago with my boyfriend. We ordered a rice dish and explained to the waitress we did not want any meat in it (we are both vegetarian). When we received our food, we noticed there was turkey in the dish. We brought the dish up to the counter and explained we ordered it with no meat, and that we could not eat it. She exclaimed that turkey is not meat, and began talking back to us in a very rude manner with attitude as we walked back to our table. Before leaving, we wrote a note on the back of our check that we would not be returning because of the poor customer service. As we drove out of the parking lot, both the waitress and the MANAGER gave us the middle finger in anger. Extremely childish behavior on the resteraunts half. This place is the most awful and disrespectful ever! We called to place an order and we gave our address (20 min driving) and they told us that should be more than $30 dollar order. Ok, we placed a $65 dollar order. The driver called us bth$@&ing about driving 30 minutes (it's not my fault that he got lost) and he told us about an additional $10 to the deliver.
