We hired them for our wedding music and our DJ. Initial meeting with them led us to believe that…read morethey were organized....but they are FAR from it! It was very hard to get in contact with them after that initial meeting. It came down to two weeks before our wedding and we still had not heard from the florist. We played phone tag for about a week and then when we were able to get in contact with him, he said "we have to get on this.....its kind of late", like it was our fault. Then, we were given a bill from the florist which stated a certain amount, and Simply Elegant said that that was not the price, it was $400 more and we should have never been given that bill. We had a budget to stick to, and when we signed the contract for our flowers, we were told we had to pay upfront. They quoted us $400 more than our budget and when we questioned it, said that if we didn't spend that much, we would get a refund. WHAT A LIE!!! Now we have had our phone calls dodged many times and when we were told we would receive a call back and did not, we contacted the company and were told that we were being send out a letter and it would state why we were not getting a refund. I had specific instructions on what I wanted for our wedding music. I tried calling the office many times and never could get a person. When I did, I was told I would get a call back, I did not. I had to send my wedding planner to the DJ the day of to make sure that they had the right songs. Then there was a power outage during my reception. The DJ did a FANTASTIC job at keeping everything going, but the company chose to take down my uplighting and send my 2nd DJ home (which we paid for) and when the power came back on....we had neither. They told us there was a 30 minute rule for power outages, which is NOT stated in the contract and we were never told about it. This company is dishonest, unreliable, and unorganzied.

They also did the uplighting for our room, which made the place come to life. Our wedding was at Landerhaven When going through the profile choices, it was so obvious, from first glance that Judy Chevrolet was the perfect choice. AND SHE WAS. Judy exudes a command over her work, one that a client could rest their faith in. She is not pushy, not stressed out, and can be seamlessly flexible in the moment. Elegant woman too. Vibes well with people Her experience showed. Somehow, the folks who I never thought would be on the dance floor danced, people danced the whole night.
