Lizabeth, the manager, got back to us with a quote within a few days via email and got us on the schedule quickly. Kristen was our instructor and she was awesome! She was super nice and personable and definitely made it easy for us as beginners with no rhythm. Lol We pretty much told her that neither of us dance and we wanted to learn some basics so we don't look like complete idiots on our wedding day! We started our first lesson with hand and arm positions and the basic box steps (5, 6, 7, 8...*quick, quick, slow*) and we built upon that with side steps, turning, "the cuddle" move and some other moves in the following 3 sessions. She watched each of us closely and told us what we were doing wrong or right and took turns with each of us til we got the feel for it. Each session was roughly 45 minutes long and she wrote down notes of what we covered after each session so that we all knew where we left off during the next visit. During our last session, Kristen had us try all of the moves we learned to go along with the beat of the music and it was tough! We sure had a lot of fun though! Thank you, Kristen! On our wedding day, we dance pretty well and noone fell, so that's a win in my book! CUSTOMER SERVICE (2/5) -- This needs improvement. I walked into the studio as a first time guest but there was no front desk station to check-in and no employee or instructor to greet me. Thankfully, other students who were waiting for class told me that the instructor was teaching another class right before ours so we waited patiently. Once the instructor started class, she was very welcoming. DANCE DRIP CLASS (3/5) -- Awesome sweat session and as the name of the class implies, you will be dripping in sweat. It was a fast paced dance class (mixture of Zumba and Hip Hop). The way this 1-hour class is structured is that you follow the instructor as she dances with each song. This a very high energy class which I love but there was a very quick introduction at the beginning of class and the instructor sounded rushed. While I love to dance, I was a beginner to this particular class so I wish the instructor would have gone through the steps/moves before each song begun so that I could have better navigated the class. I definitely felt rushed at some points in class and it would have been very helpful if the instructor provided more instruction. Such a fantastic place!…read more My niece had her gymnastic spectacular tonight. All of the kids were great! The staff was incredible and the parents were your typical proud parents. Lol! The gym was spacious and very well lite. It was a bit warm. But, there were about 200 people in there. The staff offered treats and a 50\50 raffle. It was great to be able to see and hear about some of the more advanced students. A few suggestions. Air conditioning, maybe a better way to "check" in? Or instead of having people form a line, a ticket booth? It was so packed in the little front lobby. It was hard to breath. The pictures, shirts, roses and sweets may have been better placed some place other then the small front lobby. Its an awesome place to learn gymnastics. They offer many different things. Including mommy and me all the way up to adult. The staff was fantastic with my hyper 5 year old niece.
