We didn't know we'd also meet Jan (I think is what she said her name is) who was so supportive and made the experience even more fun by amping you up. They let you play your own music (we chose to listen to our neighbors playlist since it was good). You get glass bottles and a bucket full of random breakables - china, bowls, trinkets, VHS tapes (that are quite explosive), electronics, etc. along with different tools to smash with - my sister and I really enjoyed the golf clubs. Just a heads up, you get hot with the gear on so don't dress overly warm (pants and closed toes shoes are required).

When we contacted him about being our wedding DJ, he was very responsive. At our in-person introductory meeting, he was prepared with all the right questions, forms to help us plan our music, questions about us/our family/traditions, etc. We felt very comfortable working with him. Ivan was always available by phone or email, worked hard to find our music selections including some polka numbers for a wedding march. With fairly short notice, he even helped source and set-up our lighting (uplighting, vertigo lights, cake light), all while staying within our budget. Ivan is professional, pleasant, flexible and responsive; we highly recommend him! Wedding 2011

I have not ventured out to this part of Ohio much but I am happy I did because forest city brewery had the best pierogi I have ever had. Forest City Brewery is located in Duck Island (between Ohio City and Tremont) on the corner of Columbus Road and Freeman Avenue, with the actual entrance on the Freeman side. Inside you will find a series of different rooms, including a large Beer Hall, the main bar area and a great patio out back. The whole thing feels very real and industrial, funky, comfortable and truly Cleveland. Forest City has a nice concise menu of foods, in house beers along with a larger menu of beers and drinks. You order and pay at the bar, get your beers and a number that allows them to find you with the food. The patio is a large open space with trees and plenty of assorted tables and chairs and is very dog friendly. I enjoyed the house brewed beers; I prefer darker and more full bodied beers. All of the beers were very drinkable, smooth and nice finishes. The flavors are subtle and nicely balanced; these are great beers to enjoy and there is a definite personality that Forest City beers have. I was lucky enough to get tickets to the Comedy Festival late show on Friday. The show was in the main beer hall, a large room with a low stage on one side. The show was set up with seven comedians each doing about 7 minute sets and the headliner doing about 45 minutes. Overall an great show, a bunch of different styles and approaches. The headliner Elijah Nevels was excellent; a Cleveland local who tells great stories and hilarious jokes he had the crowd going for his whole set. I really enjoyed Forest City Brewery great beer, really well made food with traditional flavors and a really unique setting. I would highly recommend checking them out. Forest City provides a unique venue to host events; if you are a comedy fan you should look forward to next years Cleveland Comedy Festival.
