I should say this was my wife's and I wedding. Also with COVID we were in limbo for the longest and they were so patient and understanding ibthink we said it was on. And then off at least 2 times. We live in NYC, so planning a wedding from afar was a bit more challenging. Dale and Brian reassured us to relax and that they would take care of everything- which they did. Dale coordinated the flow of our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception...and it was seamless. The music he played was absolutely on point with everything that we wanted. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night having the best time. You know the party is a good time when everyone is chanting 'one more song' at the end of the reception. So many people told me how great the DJ was. Dale and Brian were very professional and a pleasure to work with. If you want a wedding that is fun and not corny - you can't go wrong with On the Mic Entertainment. Can't say enough good things about them... cheers.

Since the moment we contacted Vell's through the days after our event, this venue did everything they possibly could to accommodate us. They worked with us on dates, they gave us so many menu options, they kept us up-to-date of all the restrictions going on in the state (we were planning from states away.) We changed a few things on them and they could not have been nicer about it. The food was amazing and the venue was beautiful. All our guests had everything they needed and everything went off without a hitch. Not only was it an amazing and beautiful event but it was also very affordable. We told them our budget and guest list and they gave us an option that worked for us. Also, everything was super clean and we have had no problems with the virus since our event. Can not recommend this place enough. Talk to Dee. She will make the wedding reception of your dreams come true!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time today it was our first time there. My only minor complaint…read moreis I tipped 20% because the prompt came up and I felt awkward not doing it, so we spent about $85 for 2 regular size ceramics and 1 mini one. The tip ONLY bothered me because at the end we were the only ones in there and we had about 7 paint bottles on the table, the ladies were standing around talking (totally fine like I said no one else was in there) but the last table that left had all their paint on their table still. So when I asked do we just leave? She said can you put your paints away. It's totally fine except for the fact that like, it took us a long time to find the proper spots, they weren't doing anything and she knew we were in a time crunch, I just feel like if im going to tip $11 maybe they should have put our paints away for us? Not being lazy it just seems it would have been much faster and helpful for them to do it since we were the only ones in there. Anyway. I don't want to come off rude, everyone was very nice, I just don't understand tip culture these days where we are tipping for something that we do all the work for lol (I was a bartender for 18 years so I always tip)

Lots to do, they offer regular canvas painting, ceramic painting, pottery wheel, and glass work…read more The staff is pleasant and helpful. They walk you through the process and lay of the land. If you have been in before they are good about taking a more hands off approach. The selection of pottery to paint has decreased in variety I believe due to the other activities. They offer a party room, which could be a really fun family outing or child's party. I have only done the pottery painting but am considering the couples wheel class. Check their website for different classes offered. The price may seem high but considering all that is included, I really don't find it unreasonable.

In addition to suggesting several possible venues (and we loved the venue we used - Putter's on Rt. 18), she met with us ahead of time to discuss the food. We decided to do food stations of various cultures - Mediterranean, French and Asian along with a dessert table. The presentation was gorgeous, and everyone raved about the food. Susan and her staff set it up and left one team member to oversee things and restock as needed, who was very friendly and helpful during the event. We are doing the same event again next month, and Splendid Fare was the obvious choice.

I have watched Susan's staff stick around long after the party to attend to details - whether it's soaking a client's fine napkin to eliminate a wine spot, or making sure a kitchen is spic and span. Her staff is always well trained and friendly, and they will all go to almost any length to assure the success of an event. Her reputation as one of Akron's finest caterers is well deserved, and trust me, you'll be in good hands.

They came to the venue in time to set up, fire up the oven and start serving right at the scheduled time while the rest of us were off rehearsing. Scott needed no direction from me other than "where would you like me to set up my serving table?" It was the easiest event I ever hosted. All of the pizzas were all unique and used many topping combinations from standards like pepperoni to unusual like Thai chicken or spaghetti and meatballs. Everybody enjoyed trying the different options and picking their favorites. Buffalo chicken wing and the one with mashed potato were mine but I heard others rave over the seafood Alfredo that I didn't try (far more options than one belly can handle!) There was quite a bit left over too, which reheated very well. Also included was a delicious salad, cheese stuffed breads and wood fired cinnamon rolls for dessert. It was all delicious and nobody went away hungry. For me, the best part was that Scott did all the work and I was able to relax and enjoy watching the pizza production and sampling the tasty results just as though I was one of our guests. Scott and his team worked very hard to give us great tasting food and a fun atmosphere and I would definitely hire them again.
