We met in person with Beach Boyz at their office in Cuyahoga Falls as well as completed paperwork before hand. The timeline was even confirmed with Beach Boyz. After we were announced into the reception, we had planned our first dance. The DJ skipped our first dance and we had to awkwardly walk to our head table after standing in the middle of the dance floor for a minute. Approached by the DJ, he said he could not play our first dance because it was not in the contract. He then continued to argue with me in front of all the guests. Our wedding party, my husband and I were in shock. After an extended time he moved to the toasts instead. This delayed our timeline and we had to skip our sunset photos because we no longer had time for them. I couldn't believe it! The DJ then asked what our first dance song was and said he wasn't provided with that information although they were given it twice, in person and on an electronic form. Our first dance was rescheduled for after our cake cutting. When it was time for the first dance the DJ played the wrong song not once but 3 TIMES!!! He then had to stop the music and there was a lull of 10 minutes he was frantically trying to find the right song. It was embarrassing and completely unacceptable! It took our event coordinators to get the song on their phone and the right equipment to play the song. Beach Boys did not have the music or equipment to play the song which is their one job!! I was in utter shock that this could even be possible. How are you not prepared with the music for the day? How do you not review the timeline ahead of the event? I would never recommend this DJ company to anyone and all of our guests would agree. Beach Boyz was so terrible that the owner of our upscale venue said they would no longer be allowed on their premises or they would have to let go of the DJ. I will say although the DJ provided terrible services, the company also failed to provide him with the information and music he needed to perform his job. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from a nightmare on your wedding day and pick ANY other DJ!!

We were hesitant about it at first and we decided to do it last minute (like dinner was about to be served at our reception and we told him we were going to do it). We were served our dinner first, so we did the shoe game while everyone else was finishing eating. It provided entertainment and got all the guests involved, they even started shouting out answers! It went by super fast and it was a great personalized addition to our reception! We also got the Photo Booth through Mike and it was a hit! Everyone loved going in there with different props and different groups of people. It served as an amazing and memorable guest book for us for years to come!

Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night having the best time. You know the party is a good time when everyone is chanting 'one more song' at the end of the reception.
