He was extremely helpful with planning and responded immediately when I had any questions. He was also flexible and able to work with our schedules, which was very important as we are out of town, in a different time zone, and busy as most people planning a wedding are-he made everything very easy. He took the time to share his knowledge and experience, review the sequence of events, and get to know our style, which we greatly appreciated. These discussions gave me peace of mind during wedding planning (which is priceless) and made for a seamless wedding reception. He was able to read and get a feel for the mood throughout the reception and utilize music accordingly, whether that meant playing a slow song for people to dance to or turning it up a little bit to get the energy flowing! Jim is on time, prepared, responsible, and an absolute joy to work with. Aside from being a phenomenal DJ, Jim is also an all around great person. I have no reservations in saying that Jim will exceed your expectations in all facets. Tia called me several times before our wedding to make sure our cocktails were exactly what we were hoping for and ensured that every detail down to the florals on Pearl (the trailer) matched our colors and wedding theme! They were so kind as to provide us with all the garnishes and mixers for our drinks as well so the only thing we needed to provide was the alcohol! They also made us a personalized menu board that we got to take home and have to remember such a special part of our big day! The shot cart was an absolute hit and was something everyone is still talking about a month post wedding lol! They provided us with the vodka we wanted to fill the entire shot cart too and it was more than enough for our entire wedding to have one if they wanted to! I seriously cannot recommend them enough, not only for their total professionalism, but for the kindness and enthusiasm that they showed since we met them day one! See my review of it. Mary Jane Ferris, wedding and event coodinator extrodinaire, sent me to Ferris Steakhouse for a venue. Then she connected me with Brenda, SociallyArtistic for all my flowers and decor. OMG Brenda is unbelievable! She worked with me and completely understood my personal, crazy situation of family etc. My daughter decided the colors for the wedding because she is a busy doctor and hates shopping. Brenda was so understanding and let me wait until my daughter told me the color of the dress she chose before we decided on our pallet. So cool. Socially Artistic delivered all the bouquets and boutonnieres to the church for the ceremony. She was there when we all arrived and pinned the flowers to the men and made sure all the ladies had their bouquets and corsages. It was a little hectic bug Brenda was like a rock in the torrent. I also got a wrist corsage for my mother-in-law. It was exquisite and perfect. My mother-in-law spent a lot of money on her gorgeous dress so I did not want to stick a pin in it. She loved her flowers. In fact, she has not had one word of criticism for the entire wedding and I've been her daughter-in-law for almost a week! I am just getting to the reception. Brenda and her team turned the party room at Ferris Steakhouse into a fairytale scene! Glorious hydrangeas an roses of every pink hue everywhere. And lovely candlelight at multple heights all around the room. There were candlelit flower garlands on the fireplace mantle and over the doorway to the party room. Every table was laden with small and large arrangements. Unbelievably charming!!! There was a topiary on the appetizer table that was magnificent. I told Brenda that I wanted twinkle lights and she delivered! Our reception was magical, thanks to Socially Artistic and Brenda's magic. Now I will tell you how easy Brenda made the whole thing. Really easy. Whether your wedding is in 2 months, or a year or more, call Brenda. You will be so happy you did.

I hired Brenda to be the day of coordinator at my wedding this past weekend and I don't know how I…read morecould have gotten through the day without her help. The first time I spoke with her she invited me to meet with her in person and made me feel at ease to choose her as my coordinator. About a month before the wedding, we met again to go over all the final details. She was extremely helpful in polishing up the last minute details, such as how to add some time to the ceremony. Any uncertainty I had, she had a solution, and a good one! She was very responsive to me during those days leading up to the wedding. The wedding was so well put together the day of. She helped coordinate and communicated our bridal party schedules. She was calm and comforting during what could have been a stressful time. She set up all of my décor in a perfect way. Everything was just perfectly coordinated. I highly recommend Brenda for your wedding. Although we didn't hire her for her full planning package, I am certain she would do a fabulous job on that as well. The change in caterer was sudden and unexpected, so naturally we were nervous about changing such a huge part of our wedding so relatively close to the wedding day, especially since we had already signed a contract with the previous caterer. From the start, Verba's set our minds at ease and assured we would be taken care of. They honored the prices and inclusions from our contract with the previous caterer to the best of their ability, which shows how flexible and honest they are. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our reception was everything we envisioned; from food, to reception set up and take down, to service, and making sure us and our guests were fully accommodated. The food was absolutely delicious (compliments to chef Joe and his entire kitchen staff) and our guests raved to us about it. Nathan was AMAZING at communicating with us throughout the entire process and truly made sure everything was exactly what we wanted, and left no question or request unanswered. We would highly recommend using Verba's to cater your wedding reception, whether at one of their venues or your own.
